hey - im Mike - im not much into the racing scene really, I came from a rock crawling background. I spent all my time and money making my truck slower actually I recently got the bug again and picked up an old isuzu trooper I plan to bring back to life, im just looking for some local advice, currently looking for a good machine shop in Columbus to rebuld my head and possibly rebuild my bottom end if I decided to go with it. The trooper will probably not be another crawler...I wont build another one of those until after im Divorced or my kids grow up and move out! im in westerville if anyone is looking to hang out or shoot the shit im interested because my wife cant stand to hear me talk about it any more!

Hi everyone. my name is Justin. i have an Black 06 GTI and also have a Silver 05 STI both with TBE/I/TUNE ive been to alot of the hang out areas on Fri and Sat nights and everyone i meet always ask if im a member on CR. Within the first month, the A/C died. Was told "no worries, must have not been charged fully from the factory". Charge and go home. A/C works, but smells funny (similarly like 134a refrigerant ). Lasted a week, hot again. Brought it back, was told 6 weeks for the part (heater core), but after an email to corporate, they magically had one that week. This was August mind you, so it was damn hot. Got the car back with a damaged dash, scratches all over the steering wheel controls and console (obviously set down on the shop floor...) so another trip to the shop after waiting for parts to replace my damaged dash. Tomorrow I get to bring it in for the 3rd time because the traction control and descent control lights are lit constantly. Was told it was a sensor in the steering wheel, they reset the code and sent me packing. Lasted a month. Came back on, reset code, lasted me an hour. Now they are getting me the part and will fix right this time. Ever since the heater core replacement, there are some awful rattles in my dash. This is not a Subaru problem, but definitely a Byers Subaru problem. I am beginning to see a trend here, Byers Subaru does ok rush work. Not great work. Overall build quality seems a little poor. Rattles, squeaks, etc...but where it counts, driveline, engine, transmission, its a very solid car. I just think with the redesign for 08 they left some fit and finish off. I bought the car off a recommendation from a friend with an 05 WRX and his car to this day has been problem free and feels amazing. Hopefully I just got the one that was skipped in the QC section of the assembly line because I want to believe its a great car.

We did just buy an engine off eBay for $99 and should be picking it up this week. I honestly don't know what kind of shape the car is in, but hey it's free! thad.

My first car was a Hyundai Accent. When the chance came where I could get the accord. I jumped right on it. I got a good deal, it had leather, power everything, a sunroof, and its decently quick. That's all I really wanted. As far as the fact that you are now bashing fraternities. This just shows how much of a fucking retard you are. My fraternity does not haze its members AT ALL. My entire pledging process I was not hazed once and any members who actually do haze are usually kicked out right away. The money we pay goes towards the events we hold from doing community service, philanthropy, and to parties. Maybe if you weren't such a fucking idiot and sat down and really figured out what good fraternities are about, you wouldn't have this retarded stereotype in your head.

my car is a dd and i did get in a ditch this winter... i live in bfe so the roads get pretty bad when it snows. so i put that one on and i also had one in the front but my front mount was in the way.

hell no the block is fine no other leaks nothing in the oil or oil pan maybe the gasket blown in between the pistons... i didnt wanna take it apart i just wanted to put the new motor in

This is something I was talking with a couple people about. Why do all Hondas get classified as a ricer? Even the relatively clean ones. I'll admit. My car isn't the 'fastest' or whatever and I could give a shit less. And I got a big ass can cause I got an awesome deal on it and my other one rusted off. Yet. I've tried to keep it clean and just overall as a good car. Then driving to Kroger I have 3 guys call me a ricer. On top of some negative rep some guy gave me back on here calling me a 'ricer fag'. So how in the fuck do people define ricer? And why do even the 'normal' honda drivers get defined as it. I don't rev (I'm usually the guy yelling at the people reving the POS cars), I don't drive like a dbag all over the parking lot. I take my time and I go around and meet people, try to have fun. Then to have some faggots who think they're bad ass in whatever the fuck they drive call me a ricer for no reason. That shit pisses me off. Discuss.
