  1. I've been in C'bus since the fall of '90 when I started college at Capital. I work as a network/server geek now. Has nothing to do with what I did on college, but that's how things work out sometimes. I went to OSU for a few years and got a private pilot license that I don't use either, but it was fun. Anyhoo, I heard about CR at the Gearhead Gathering a few weeks ago. I enjoy pretty much any motor vehicle in air or the road no matter the manufacturer as long as the execution is well done. Heck, a gnarly well-built lawnmower engine has it's merits in my world. Personally, I like to drive somewhat uncommon stuff. If that stuff can manage to get out of it's own way, all the better. I also enjoy doing nearly all my own wrenching. As long as I have the proper diagnostic equipment and tools, I do my own work. It's an extension of the tinkering I do at work but on different hardware, so it comes naturally. <shrug> http://faculty.otterbein.edu/tpindell/truck/srt10/herd2_smaller.jpg I have a soft spot for hot hatchbacks and the rediculous. Right now, my fun vehicles include a 1986 Omni GLH-T and a '04 Ram SRT-10. I've done a few things to the Omni, but the Ram is all factory except the old-school Rat Fink antenna topper. I hope that doesn't void the warranty...

  2. whats goin on guys, this is the official intro. Pretty much i learned about cr through te7two, he's been tellin me for a while about this place. I've attended a couple of columbus racing meets. I was at the very first cars and coffee and have showed up at some other random places. I had a very good time at all of them so i decided it's my time to join. I am currently a student at cscc, live in gahanna. On to the ride. I drive an 03 volkswagen gti 1.8t. Nothing too crazy just your basic bolt on goodies, jetta front end and the porsche twists. Here she is: on the way home from deals gap: http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/pp19/gstimpert/123.jpg other random shots: http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/pp19/gstimpert/1234.jpg http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/pp19/gstimpert/P1050590.jpg so yea thats it, flame suit equipped

  3. Hi the name's Carlos. I'm from Puerto Rico, been here for about 10 months now in Ohio. I've been back and forth from Puerto Rico to Ohio to much but finally i stay here . I hope to learn and also maybe share some knowledge here and if possible make some new friends . Well here it is... I have a 99 Acura Integra LS daily driven. Its my only ride. Here's a pic. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/Gaby01Gaby/P5120361-1.jpg Well I got a few plans for this ride. First off the engine has never been opened or tampered with, all stock internals. Its only got 79K miles on it now. I've only done a few things to it. So far DC sports headers 4-2-1, DC sports strut bar,Gsport distributor cap & rotor button (transparent red, looks cool but still same :bs: as stock), APC coilovers, Spectra short ram intake, Spectra breather filter for the valve cover. That's it so far for performance right now. Here's pic. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/Gaby01Gaby/P5120363.jpghttp://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/Gaby01Gaby/P5120365.jpg Yeah I know the valve cover is pealing @_@. So what I'm doing is pealing all the paint off the valve cover (its almost all off). Some future/near plans; Test pipe 3in cat back exhaust system 70mm throttle body Skunk 2 pro series intake manifold Custom full turbo kit Fully programmable ECU Forged internals, Eagle ... As for the interior... its all stock planning on leaving it as is, looks just fine. All it has aftermarket inside would be a Jensen head unit, Scosche wires, MTX woofer (1) and a Rockford Fosgate amplifier (nothing fancy). That's it for the interior. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/Gaby01Gaby/PC280298.jpghttp://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/Gaby01Gaby/PC280301.jpg Well that's all I have for now or all I can think off at the moment XD. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/Gaby01Gaby/PC280313.jpg

  4. No specific plans yet. I've only had it a few years. The T-56 feels like I'm stirring a box of rocks sometimes, but I'm not sure what I can do about that. A 2/4 drop might look nice. The exhaust note could be a bit more pronounced. There was a -10 at the Mopar Nationals last year with a Billy Boat exhaust and headers on his -10 and...just...wow. But that's in the "More than you can afford, pal." category. Right now, I'm OK with it being that weird red truck.

  9. Well, it's actually in Cleveland now, but I'm in DC. I went to OSU for a while, joined the military and bounced around for 8 years, just bought a house in Upper Arlington and I'll be moving into it this winter. Feels good to be getting back to Ohio. I joined up because I was curious where the autocrosses in the area are... sorta hoping there's some right down the street at the Schott or something. I have 2 kids, a minivan, a corolla, and this Integra. Pictures are from the ITR Expo in Illinois a couple weeks back. I killed an ITR or two or all of them http://www.1320video.com/img/ITRExpo9/MG_1807.jpg http://www.1320video.com/img/ITRExpo9/MG_1854.jpg http://www.1320video.com/img/album04/MG_5116.sized.jpg http://www.1320video.com/img/ITRExpo9/MG_1956.jpg http://www.1320video.com/img/album04/IMG_4447.sized.jpg

  14. i've kept track of every fill up since 1.6 miles when i took delivery... just like kirk said above, if I did a tiny bit more hwy i'd be seeing 18 average. since i'm still within that 6 month period of it being new, my foot likes to go a little further than necessary more often than not (i actually don't see that changing anytime soon) to answer your question, i'm gettin 16.8mpg since i've had it. I've seen 24.9 on long roadtrips before my tune I got 25.8 after my tune and mods I've seen 12.2 city-only before muahaha
