  2. I've been in C'bus since the fall of '90 when I started college at Capital. I work as a network/server geek now. Has nothing to do with what I did on college, but that's how things work out sometimes. I went to OSU for a few years and got a private pilot license that I don't use either, but it was fun. Anyhoo, I heard about CR at the Gearhead Gathering a few weeks ago. I enjoy pretty much any motor vehicle in air or the road no matter the manufacturer as long as the execution is well done. Heck, a gnarly well-built lawnmower engine has it's merits in my world. Personally, I like to drive somewhat uncommon stuff. If that stuff can manage to get out of it's own way, all the better. I also enjoy doing nearly all my own wrenching. As long as I have the proper diagnostic equipment and tools, I do my own work. It's an extension of the tinkering I do at work but on different hardware, so it comes naturally. <shrug> http://faculty.otterbein.edu/tpindell/truck/srt10/herd2_smaller.jpg I have a soft spot for hot hatchbacks and the rediculous. Right now, my fun vehicles include a 1986 Omni GLH-T and a '04 Ram SRT-10. I've done a few things to the Omni, but the Ram is all factory except the old-school Rat Fink antenna topper. I hope that doesn't void the warranty...

  3. whats goin on guys, this is the official intro. Pretty much i learned about cr through te7two, he's been tellin me for a while about this place. I've attended a couple of columbus racing meets. I was at the very first cars and coffee and have showed up at some other random places. I had a very good time at all of them so i decided it's my time to join. I am currently a student at cscc, live in gahanna. On to the ride. I drive an 03 volkswagen gti 1.8t. Nothing too crazy just your basic bolt on goodies, jetta front end and the porsche twists. Here she is: on the way home from deals gap: http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/pp19/gstimpert/123.jpg other random shots: http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/pp19/gstimpert/1234.jpg http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/pp19/gstimpert/P1050590.jpg so yea thats it, flame suit equipped

  4. Hello all, my name is Mike. I live in Upper Arlington off of Lane Ave. I was a previous member of Columbus Racing when I owned my Kenne Bell'd 5.0 (hence my name). I'm back now though, I just purchased a 07 Tungsten Grey Mustang GT, and I'm looking to start the money pit thing again. I've been out to several Columbus racing events in the past (hooters, quaker steak, etc.) and I'll be out again now that I'm back on the boards. Look forward to all the knowledge these boards hold within. Again, hello to everyone!
