It's a distraction from real environmental issues with real consequenses now. If we'd ignore the hypothetical "climate change" argument and focus on the "our water is poisonous" debate, we'd get done what needs done.... but there's no money in it. Arguing climate change, and our part in it, is a waste of time because it's just that; an argument. No one can win it, yet the people in charge love trying because it keeps them employed; "Look at what I said, I'm on your side, re-elect me". They funnel money to researchers who produce results that are requested of them, because there's so much statistical data out there that it's possible to shift it in whatever direction you like. Global warming is more of an industry than it is a debate or a "movement".

I learned a few years ago. Its pointless to whine and to just roll with the punches.

Hello Columbus Racing! My name is Don I currently live in Sandersville, GA but I have recently bought a home in Grove City, OH. Being a member on a local racing forum here in GA, I figured a good way to get to know people where im moving would be on a car forum. Iv been hearing Ohio has been getting hit pretty hard with some weather latly? I sure hope all that ends soon. I have a Bright Red 98 TA. Havnt had a lot of time to have it out with the move taking over the last 5 months of my life. Hopfully I can get it out when I get to ohio in mid-late march? maybe? haha anyways I dont have any pics available right now since everythings all packed up. Im actually on a friends computer right now! But hopfully I can get to know all of you and see all you guys at some local meets!! :bangbang:

I pretty much gave up on cleveland racing due to the super immaturity on that site. Its cool and all to bust balls but they dont know how to stop. Most of them are just flat out idots.

See.... this is entirely missing the point of the posting. The point is that the argument of man-made global warming is entirely irrelevant, and the argument is distracting us from the real problems. People arguing for and agaist man-made global warming are idiots, because there is entirely too much data to ever be compiled into one definitive Yes or No. It's all statistics, and statistics are made to be skewed. It's entirely a political issue, as both side can never proove they are right. It's brought up by people who love to argue. -Emissions do need to be cut, because that shit is making us sick NOW. Not because it might flood the world in 20 year. -Restrictions on pollutants need to be made more strict because it's effecting our quality of life NOW, not because of what it may or may not do to life later. But no, you don't hear about any of the real, proven science that says we need to clean up, because there's no money to be made off of it. No one wants to give grants to places that do non-global warming related environmental research, because there's no political capital in it. It's that fucking simple. So as our proverbial ship is sinking, the people in charge are arguing over the color of the iceberg and doing nothing to stop the damned leak! While you, the news, and our elected offials bitch and moan over some assholes emails, the waters are being poised, the skies are being choked, and our natural resources are being raped and squandered. Global warming isn;t a debate, it's an idustry. It's not Science anymore, it's a reality show.

The goal of my car is to make it well rounded. Looks as well as speed. If you feel that makes me a "ricer" Im sorry I failed you, but my cars ment to please no one but myself. A little background that prolly Ill get ridiculed for. Toyota worked with Lotus engineers on building this car. The Elise is one of my dream cars that I saddy cannot afford but subsequently modeling my car after the Lotus. Car and drive called the Spyder the poor mans Porsche I rather have a poor mans Lotus.

Current mods on my 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse nothing special really. Injen wai < was once a cai. Rpw long tube headers, B&M short shifter, Rezlo aluminum billet underdrive pulley, knight rider 3rd brake light. Hi, my name is Adrian I'm 17, and from kettering, right outside of Dayton, bout an hour from C-bus. I'm just now getting into cars and am trying to learn as much possible. Right now there isn't much of a racing scene in dayton, so columbus and middletown are about the closest cities that do anyting. I drive a 03 civic right now. I am looking forward to attending the cars and coffee thats located in c-bus so any info about that would be appreciated.

no i didnt. guess i just bypassed it. but to answer you im down to race anything or anyone. for me its not about winning or losing (hopefully i win more than i loose:)). to me its about enjoying what i like to do which is drive my car.
