  1. Cliff notes for those that hate to read: -Names Patrick -From Zanesville -1998 Dakota R/T n/a 408 -1996 Dakota big block project -Love Mopars Hey gang my names Patrick and I have been a member here for awhile just never introduced myself. I complete forgot until today when I got an email about the NTR event. I'm 18 and currently attending UC. Anyways I'm a die hard Dakota guy. Currently have two, 98 Dakota R/T and a 96 Dakota big block project underway. The R/T fully forged 408, eddy heads, spintech long tubes etc. I don't want to bore you guys so I'll just get to pics. If you are actually interested in the truck and want to know more just ask. Here is an idle clip of the small block: http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20408%20Dakota/DSC08720-1.jpg The rims that are in the pics are 20" R/T wheels, I no longer have those and upgraded to 19x10 CCW 505A's. In that last pic I'm currently upgrading the front brakes to 14" rotors and 4 piston brembos AKA Gen III viper brakes. I started this project over spring break and only got the driver side 90% done, still have to tap the bracket I made. And No, I'm not putting them on just because they say "Viper" haha I could care less what they say as long as they stop me quickly. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20408%20Dakota/DSC09124-3.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20408%20Dakota/IMG00138-20100327-1830-1.jpg The 96 is the new project, just recently picked up a 440 block that is already .040 over. As it looks right now the combo is going to be 496"/727/8 3/4". We shall see though, hoping for a mid 10 second pass on motor when it's done and be fully streetable. Nothing really special about it right now though, after I finish the brakes on the R/T this thing is getting all my money and time. I only have two decent pics of it, oh well. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1996%20Big%20Block%20Dakota%20Project/IMG00101-20100321-1417.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/IMG00107-20100323-1351-1.jpg Peace

I drive a 1991 honda crx as a dd and my lil toy is a 1990 nissan 240sx. For the mod list:1992 blacktop sr20det, upgraded cooling system, turbo is a gt2876 running on 15 psi thanx to my aem tru boost, full 3 inch exhaust, rocking a godspeed front mount and a hks ssqv, walbro 255, controlled by my mines stage 1 ecu. Thought I would finaly join up and see what columbus racing was all about. Current mods on my 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse nothing special really. Injen wai < was once a cai. Rpw long tube headers, B&M short shifter, Rezlo aluminum billet underdrive pulley, knight rider 3rd brake light. 6. Hello Columbus Racing! My name is Don I currently live in Sandersville, GA but I have recently bought a home in Grove City, OH. Being a member on a local racing forum here in GA, I figured a good way to get to know people where im moving would be on a car forum. Iv been hearing Ohio has been getting hit pretty hard with some weather latly? I sure hope all that ends soon. I have a Bright Red 98 TA. Havnt had a lot of time to have it out with the move taking over the last 5 months of my life. Hopfully I can get it out when I get to ohio in mid-late march? maybe? haha anyways I dont have any pics available right now since everythings all packed up. Im actually on a friends computer right now! But hopfully I can get to know all of you and see all you guys at some local meets!! :bangbang:

  7. Hi, my name is Adrian I'm 17, and from kettering, right outside of Dayton, bout an hour from C-bus. I'm just now getting into cars and am trying to learn as much possible. Right now there isn't much of a racing scene in dayton, so columbus and middletown are about the closest cities that do anyting. I drive a 03 civic right now. I am looking forward to attending the cars and coffee thats located in c-bus so any info about that would be appreciated. Heres some pics of the civic. Automatic btw. http://i341.photobucket.com/albums/o364/ArmyOfDarkness_photos/0302001456.jpg http://i341.photobucket.com/albums/o364/ArmyOfDarkness_photos/0302001456a.jpg http://i341.photobucket.com/albums/o364/ArmyOfDarkness_photos/0302001456b.jpg Heres some pics of the old engine. http://i341.photobucket.com/albums/o364/ArmyOfDarkness_photos/0302001457.jpg http://i341.photobucket.com/albums/o364/ArmyOfDarkness_photos/0302001457a.jpg http://i341.photobucket.com/albums/o364/ArmyOfDarkness_photos/0302001459.jpg http://i341.photobucket.com/albums/o364/ArmyOfDarkness_photos/0302001459a.jpg http://i341.photobucket.com/albums/o364/ArmyOfDarkness_photos/0302001459b.jpg

  8. Very cool, bud. Welcome to CR! I too have grown to love these trucks. My "beater" is a black 97 Dakota with 260k+ miles on the original engine and transmission. It's a 5.2 4x4 auto truck... any suggestions on a fun and easy upgrade motor when this one eventually gives up the ghost? I assume your 408 abandons all the fuel injection, correct?
