  1. You know, I feel bad that Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, and others feel like they are being unjustly criticized for the actions of a crazy extremist. Perhaps they should ask some Muslims how to cope with that.

  8. Sorry for the late response but I'm working out of state and been away from a computer for a while. While it may be true "we" Harley riders may get defensive,if you read the thread with an open mind, you might see a trend and realize why. And just a reminder,I've owned many bikes over the years and in fact still own a Honda. The thread is about loud pipes and no one mentioned anything about brand until the "Harley" rider posted. First it was a "Ban" post from one and then a specific point made against shitbags on "Harleys". 5 pages of guys posting that their rides are loud but the first Harley poster gets everyone's ire up? Glad the guys I ride with who still ride bikes other than Harleys aren't so quick to judge. Or maybe it's because most of their bikes are louder than most Harleys.

  9. Let me ask you this.. why bring manufacturing back to the US? If you are talking about jobs and bringing money back to the US, I can name one cash crop that would probably provide more jobs and money for the government than manufacturing jobs would, if only it were legalized.

  10. You bring up really good questions here. It is commonly accepted that we do not manufacture enough and that is part of the downfall of the US. It could be argued that we should get rid of ALL manufacturing. If we were to bring back manufacturing I would like to see advances in renewable energy development and production as well as healthy food production. I feel that we should focus on sustainable production and elimination of pollution. I honestly do not understand any of this.
