Makes me feel good. I just got a new Cortech textile jacket. The last 6 years, I have been sporting a mesh jacket with perforated leather sleeves. It held up fine in a low speed low side but thats all would expect from mesh. It really sucked having to layer up under the jacket in colder weather. All it was good for was crash protection. I wont wear mesh again. I vote for textile if you arent going to be riding at the track. as for brands, they are all pretty good. Joe Rocket, Icon, A* seem to be popular. Speed and Strength has some nice stuff out too. I just started riding in boots last season and I would reccomend them. Check out newenough.com, they have some good deals and make sure to check out the closeout bargain basement section for super steals on gear.

It seems that Suzuki guys like yoshi pipes. I would recommend, Yoshi, 2 bros, or akrapovic (sp?). if you get a full system, you might lose some bottom end (at least you do on an inline 4). A Full system will deff make more power on top compared to just a slip on. you could get a slip on and spend the extra cash on a PC3 instead of spending the extra cash on a full set of pipes.

I just replaced my 6 year old Joe Rockets with carbon knuckles for a pair of A* moto octane. They look pretty sweet and cant wait to use them when it gets warm. Joe rocket has good stuff but I didnt see any gloves in their line up that looked appealing to me.

I am jealous of your glorious career. and with the addition of chroming stuff. I need to get some parts to you for chrome but sounds like you will be busy for a while
