I had a Digital Rebel and ended up selling it b/c I don't have the time to learn how to use it properly and my wife hated the bulkiness. I've heard great things about the S5 IS but I'm a little concerned with its size, and all others in that super zoom field. I do like the fact that I can purchase other lenses without the need to upgrade to a different body. I also read the latest dpreview that put the SD880 IS & f100fd at pretty much equals in the compact field and they are attractively priced new. Both options can be had for the 200 - 250 dollar range so they meet that requirement. Or is there something better that I should check out?
