I had a 2008 zzr that is a 98-02 zx6r. I had race tech springs gold valve and compression kit installed and rear had just a race tech spring with stock suspension. I was pretty happy with the setup for my ability and was fine on the track in the novice group. Recently on a trackday as I was refining late braking into a corner, I went into a pathetic tank slapper and wrecked it. The turn was a 100+ mile sweeper but comes after a front straight of 140+. So late braking from 140 to say 90. What could have caused the slapper. Well I did not have a steering damper that I now regret. Any suggestions ? Bike totaled looking for a R6 or GSX R 750 ;-)

Motul 5 wt for novice 10 for intermediate and advanced riders. 15 wt for race.

I hear the Dexter torsion axles are great. I have dexter axle with a leaf spring, it is ok. The advantage of a torsion axle is that your trailer tires are usually not balanced torsion axle take care of that and reduce the vibration of the the conventional leaf springs.

Along with riding the full 106 miles of 28 from walhalla sc to the gap/129/blueridge/cherohala over the holiday weekend, a little family fun rafting wasn't bad at all.

Another thing I observed that I-40 from Newport TN to Ashville NC in less traffic could be a blast on the freeway. No cops and you don't have to worry about crossing the yellow line and oncoming traffic. There is margin for errors with two lanes and could be great for noobs

Pauly's idea was exactly right. I went to the restroom first, wifey was pumping gas, when I was coming out of the restroom, wifey was in the restroom line. At this point the car was unlocked with the kiddo and grandma in the car.The guy jumped into the backseat and held them, when I walked to the car I couldn't see anything inside for the tinted windows, as I jumped in, I had the gun in my face and moments later the same thing to the wife.

Well just in a year I moved to South Carolina......We have been ushered with Southern Hospitality at gunpoint on Christmas Day in Jacksonville, Florida while driving back down from a Orlando Disney Vacation.......we are all safe and never lost the sense of humor.......read the comments below the news....they are more hilarious.....
