I would most likely push you toward the Midland BT2
the two largest reasons
-it has a high volume level
-does voice dialing, stereo auto
Out of the Scala, xbi, and bt2, It also has the best audio quality, there are also upgrade speakers you can buy for another 40 bucks.
ChatterBox is easier to work but has less features.
I have demo units at Iron Pony that you can come in and play with. I would be glad to personally show you how they work and what the features are.We have the scala q2,multiset,teamset,fm,and solo instock, as well as midland BT2,BT1, ChatterBox xbi 1 and 2.

I know nothing about these...I might have to go to the pony and fiddle with this. Is the price for 1 unit or a set? My wife and I have talked about these before, but never looked into them.
The price is for one unit. A pair runs about $460. There are two different ones we have in the store, fullface or openface. The only diffrence is the head sets, the unit itself is the same.

I have had nothing but great luck selling these at the pony. I get rave reviews, mostly about the quality of the product and the ease of use. Great battery life. I have two demo units at the store if anyone would like to come in and play with them( can't leave store).

do i hear a sti swap?
-
She rides better than I do already!!
-
We stock Alpinestar boot proofing past as well as doc baileys, and nikwax.
-
Alpinestar has a few pairs, http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/product_list.asp/ImageName/NA/Brand/ALPINESTARS/Class1/STREET%20PRODUCTS/Class2/Footwear/Class3/Street%20Boots-Mens/class3price/NA/page/2
I would recommend the webs or the ridge.
I have a pair of these and love them, more of a causal boot than most of the astars but i walk around Pony all day with them on when i ride in.
These are my newest foot ware purchase. I absolutely love them for the dryer days as they are only water resistant.
HOPE THIS HELPS!!

way to much nerds. can't take it anymore.
DUDE!! that "The Crow" helmet is freaking sweet! I'd rock that. The thing i can't believe is that people will buy a $100 helmet and pay $350 bucks for a paint job.

nice buy Buildit!
IP JR is the man, i have been down there like 7 times in the last couple of weeks, trying jackets, leather suits, boots, and gloves on. he has been a tremendous help!
I try to do what I can! Always glad to see a face I know off of here.
-
Well I was at IP today, Nick wasn't.
But IP Jr was able to help me out.
I wanted this type of helmet for a while because of the ability to use either the face shield or goggles.
When not in use the goggles can be wraped around the back, out of the way but still in easy access.
Thanks for the help and good chatting with you IP Jr.
Glad I could be a help man!! Enjoy the helmet!!

Looking to make my YZ426 street legal so
-install electrosport dualsport kit
-mirrors
-stator
-Conti-Go! tires
-taller gearing
-go to BMV (aka...Hell!!)
VFR
-tear off body work and clean up, re-polish everything.
-New slip-on? cut down existing TBR?
-new zero gravity windscreen
-new pads, clean up rotors or replace with waves
-try not to crash it while in storage
-
I know I have my new X-12 on order can't wait!!!!!
-
I prefer the GP Pros. They just fit and feel better. The Dianese are probably a better glove but just don't fit me right, especially in the knuckle and fingers. The GP Pros are the best feeling gloves that Astar makes. I just picked up a set of Icon Merc full length gloves and f**King love them.

learn to spell my name right!

Are you sure that its not just 9.5 times more comfortable? I just bought a used corbin for my VFR and i love it!!

Well, I wrecked my "new" bike today coming off of 161 and ran through a oily slick and low sided. So I'm on the look out for some new left side body panels or someone that can repair the stuff i have. The fairing is scraped up and has a few cracks. Please, if you know anyone besides Honda that has some let me know. Thanks.

Spectro makes great oil. I have used it off and on for years. strongly recommend it.

would that fit a 1982 Kawi GPZ 1100?
-

The Scala units are know for weak speakers, most complain about lose of sound after about 55 on most bikes.
