i didn't say those were mains, that's his picture. and yes, those are your rod caps, don't touch those. keep them clean and oily. also, i hope you have a repair manual with torque patterns, yields, and specs. and a good torque wrench. probably 3/8th's, and an inch pound.

i did it. i switched oil. probably to one of the more expensive brands, but i'm sure i won't regret it. royal purple high performance motorcycle oil, fully synthetic obviously and of course an oem filter the bill was a bit expensive the oil was discounted for me from 16.99 to 12.53, making it 37.59 + tax for 3 quarts and the oem yamaha filter was 13.50 + tax ouch i hope it was worth it

i use something to this extent now. i takes the abuse from dropping, and it's led's which are bright as shit.

they work now, lol. i had frame sliders like those before my wreck, when my bike went down they shattered and were no help. i ended up getting solid woodcraft ones.
