i'm looking to buy one on ebay though because my gps has a really odd shaped plug end, and i've seen the ones i need on there before. i just can't remember exactly what to search.

i can't seem to find the thread, nor remember who else on here had an r6 with gps. i have my gps set up, but i can't remember what to search on ebay to buy a bare wire for it to be run off of my battery. any help?

i know i don't have to change it that early, i just like to keep my oil clean. i mean, when you see how people treat their cars every day, and the oil comes out sludgey or chocolatey when you change it, it just really annoys you i guess. i like to keep my oil fresh even if it still has time to break down. i was amazed too. i did see that had some sort of repsol on the shelf, but it didn't look to be for sports bikes. i know they make different types of oils. possibly i dealt with a new guy or something?

i was really hoping to try the repsol oil a while back, so i went to the local honda shop. i got the answer "uhh, we don't carry that oil" DUMB. it's honda oil!

i've made the trip to competition accessories a few times. cute girls all over, know 2 of them now lol. it's a decent sized place with a lot to offer. i loveeeeee their big helmet section, although i was bummed when they didn't carry any a* stuff. i will note though, they had no problem ordering me anything if they didn't have it.

k&n runs around the same as an oe for yamaha

you made a very valid point. it makes me question buying a k&n filter today. i might try it, who knows. i think i'm sticking with amsoil oil now though.

i work for honda, and i believe we contract with two companies. one shitty, one fairly good.

i highly agree about the frams they are partial cardboard and lack a bit of filtration compared to others i could debate oil/filters all day haha

i have serious doubts too.. it was a hard material. i'm changing my oil/filter asap tomorrow to a k&n with amsoil
