  1. I have a set of Metzler M3s with half a track day on them ("3" 20min sessions). I'm looking for $150 picked up ( I can meet you somewhere) or $165 shipped. Pictures upon request.

    You can reach me at: michael_hundemer @ yahoo.com or 859 445 4454

P.S. Gixxie750 can vouch on the quality of this set of tires. (they're at his house! HA!!)

  2. its allowed, happens everywhere up here..even better the will have a 2 man setup where one radars, other goes and chases you down..repeat.repeat.repeat

it is not allowed! I am a police officer an you must have AT LEAST your parking lights on. That goes for Ohio, KY, and IN.

  3. Use fog lights. Seen alot of guys with track bikes at the Dragon using them. Makes it legal but wouldn't work for shit at night.

    That was my first thought...

Fog lights would be something I would add to the race bike right now. I want to make the new fairings look custom with nicely mounted lights cut into the upper.

  4. So I want to be able to convert my '05 R1 back in forth from race to street but I don't want to buy OEM plastics again. Instead I would like to buy a good set of race fairings and have them "Done up right".

The problem with that is trying to incorporate headlights... I have been looking at streetfighter lights that I could maybe breakdown and build a bracket to mount them, but I want this thing to look good!

Does anyone have any experience or advice? Smart ass comments can be placed in the next thread please.;)

  5. I have never in my life talked to someone one min then watch them pass away 5 min l8ter.... I am still not sure what to think of all this, but time will help.

You are right Brandon. It is hard to watch your friends die (I know from experience), but it does get easier as time goes by. Just try not to fixate on what happened, but remember all the great times you all had. If you need to talk I'm here Bro...

  6. I agree completely with Jeremygsxr. If the cop doesn't show two times in a row the judge will have no choice but to dismiss the case. Odds are the is the cop doesn't show the first time it won't go any further. Not having valid insurance is a big deal, but it's not worth several court hearings. As long as you have it up to date when you got to court the ADA shouldn't push the issue.
