  1. It's still a compact truck, right? Which means it might be able to safely tow about as much as my V6 Silverado. 300lb/ft of torque means dick when the chassis, brakes, suspension and trans aren't up to it. You know, Toyota put diesel's in their pickups back in the 80's, but they didn't sell for shit so they dropped it and never looked back.
  2. no shit, reading comprehension is a lost art of course, that means OP can write whatever he wants in his paper and no one will pay attention enough to know if he's on topic or not.
  3. When the japanese first came to america, they made a name by being cheaper than the rest. All of the compact trucks in the US market start under $20k, closer to $15k. This thing starts over $20k. As much as I would like to see a compact diesel in the market, I don't think that 30 mpg will cut it when diesel is almost a dollar a gallon more than 87 (my 96 tacoma got a hair under 30 mpg highway). Also, its ugly. Cab needs to be longer and the roofline needs to be lower, and no extended cab/four door option will really hurt it. Hardly anyone wants a regular cab these days, i know I don't. Edit - just saw Eric's pictures, guess there is a four door. And I just remembered, it says 4 year warranty? I thought 10 year was pretty standard these days. I don't know that I would want something with unknown reliability and shit for a warranty.
  4. I got to ride in this car around Christmas, it completely surprised me. I'm glad to see things are progressing. This is what, engine #4 now?
  5. You know, I'm sitting here honestly trying to come up with an argument for it, and I simply can't come up with anything. I guess go to the Brady campaign's website and steal their ideas, as crazy and nonsensical as they may be.
  6. Uhh....cherry is also used as meaning mint, perfect, etc.
  7. The sammi is for sale no doubt, but I need cash money
  8. I think eric is looking for a muddy field, not a trail
  9. White is taking a vacation for hotlinking NWS.
  10. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46538&highlight=sharpie+lambo Repost is a repost.
  11. I use Dreamhost. There's a way to do referrals and I can discount it down to almost nothing for your first year, if you are interested. I'm extremely happy with it. I use it for email and picture hosting. It's also pretty nice as a way to back up any critical data you can't afford to lose, as they (and any other reputable webhost) keeps everything backed up very well.
  12. I think he types better when he's drunk.
  13. So they can add a fuel saving Tornado to it, duh!
  14. That's a very common bolt pattern. It's shared between mustangs, RX7's, Tacoma's, Probe's, and I'm sure a whole slew of other vehicles. Should be easy to find in a junkyard.
  15. You probably don't have enough HP to turn the compressor. I highly recommend a K&N intake and a throttle body spacer, should be more than enough to compensate.
  16. Kenny, are those factory Jeep wheels painted black?
  17. I'm very happy with my 360. I really recommend the Elite though (high end one), it comes with a bigger hard drive and HDMI. I'm not sure if it's still this way, but when I bought my Halo edition, the standard version was hit or miss as to whether or not it came with HDMI. Also, you will be sure it has the newer, cooler running chipset so much lower chance of the ring of death. I would also recommend Halo edition as it's a bit cheaper with a smaller hard drive, but I doubt those are still available. My mom bought a Wii and loves it. It's cheap to buy, but STILL hard to get ahold of. Gameplay is different, I haven't played one yet to decide if I like it or not. Not as many decent games as Xbox, and they are more kid/family oriented. PS3 has Bluray. What else does it have? I dunno, shit for games? PS3 is crap, unless you want the bluray player. To be honest, the only way I would buy a PS3 is if I decided to get a bluray player. I would probably never game with it.
  18. I read in the news this week that 1 in 10 Ohians are on food stamps, and 1 in 6 West Virginians. http://dispatch.com/live/content/local_news/stories/2008/03/22/foodstamps.ART_ART_03-22-08_A1_NN9NE83.html?sid=101 http://www.dailymail.com/News/statenews/200803260077 Michigan is 1 in 8, NY 1 in 10 http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/31/us/31foodstamps.html?ei=5065&en=0e6e07da47bbb747&ex=1207540800&partner=MYWAY&pagewanted=print
  19. Not anymore. Those last about 3 minutes.
  20. Now its time for guns. Well, it's always time to buy guns... Now its just easier
  21. 1080 is higher resolution than 720. Generally, you can't get 1080 until you move up to a certain size, however I do not know what that size is. I have a 52" Pany LCD projection screen. Not quite the same as a flat panel, but its still an LCD screen. It does 1080, and I play a lot of Halo 3 on it. I bought my mother a 32" Samsung for Christmas. It only does 720, but playing Halo on it was even more amazing. I wish I would have had the coin to pick up another one for my bedroom. That being said, I have been happy with my Pany every day I've owned it, except when it broke two weeks out of warranty. $400 later, I was enjoying it again.
  22. That thing looks to be in pretty good shape. The 305 was a dog, but any small block can drop right in. Also, your sig is too wide. The rules on signature's can be seen here: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/announcement.php?f=27&announcementid=7
  23. The only way to legally kill all insurance on a car is to surrender your license plates. If you get the audit and didn't have it insured, it is on you to prove the vehicle was inoperable. Guilty until proven innocent. However, just having it garaged for the season isn't excuse enough to pull insurance in the eyes of the Ohio BMV.
