  1. Thanks for the humor and support, that account was about 10 years ago, I figured this would be a fun thread to just vent about the total TOOLS we've run into and their antics. Here's another Tale of ultimate douchebag - A general manager of a small shop was skimming off the top for about 2 years to the tune of $100k. Shop closed and about 6 nice guys (ok 4 nice guys, 1 douchebag and 1 jerkoff) lost their jobs. The shop wasn't all that profitable to begin with - its like the captain of a ship drilling holes in the hull while it sinks! Now for Paul Harvey style rest of the story with said douchebag (Cody Wade Smith from California, now who knows where). Shortly after he returned to work and started his antics I took another job and decided to make a clean break with him b/c I just couldn't take the combo of drama and hate. Putting on my finest how-to-win-friends-and-influence-people hat I wrote a nice letter wishing him and his all the best just wishing it from a distance. His wife calls us up and leaves a white trash message on our voicemail about how I was lying about wishing them the best and my wife should wake up and see what I'm really like and blah blah blah. Couple months later he leaves her and moves back to sunny Cali and she moves back to Nevada. I still wish them the best...from a distance. LOL! Oh yeah, my wife and I are going on 10 years of marriage getting better all the time!
  2. Try to top this true life account - A neighbor of mine (was a friend but turned into a total douchebag:rolleyes:) decided to ride his bike to work on a day that was way too cold for me to ride mine. On the way to work he passes me on his bike...further up the road I recognize a couple of co-workers from another part of the factory with him, bike wrecked and he's in the fetal position on the side of the road:eek:. I let them know I'll be speeding down to call 911 and then go to the factory to let the production manager know about the accident and who will be late (thinking long-term this might help save the clown's job). - Injuries - shattered femur (while wrecking the bike he got his leg pinned between bike and street sign) - guy would have bled to death if I wouldn't have called emergency services, would have lost his job if I wouldn't have let the manager know about lateness/accident. What thanks do I get when said clown returns to work - he goes whining and crying like a little girl up to any moron with a sympathetic ear that I'm a big jerk because I didn't come back and hold his hand until the ambulance arrived:flingpoo:. Everyone needs 1 or 2 of these douches in their lives so they can run from the rest!
  3. Years ago I was coming home to Mount Vernon from Mansfield and some guy got killed on st route 13 - guy was going about 180mph when a car started pulling out from a side road - DOA. I've been told some of the shop bike's previous owners are no longer among the living. We had an orange CBR600RR with 6 miles a couple years ago, the owner is now playing either a harp or a pitch fork if you know what I mean. We had a 1995 ZX 7 R polished frame, some parts that had been chromed - the fuel tank was completely caved in 4 inches deep and wide, bottom to top where the belly and/or groin struck the tank - he's probably a ghost as well. More than once we have gotten in bikes smashed in front and back - probably got sandwiched in a stop-light - probably no longer among the living. The worst stories come from the friends / survivors around the victims - hearing about people dragged to their death, watching the helmet split and brains on the ground from a street sign, on and on and on.
  4. Ok, I admit it I'm too much like George from Seinfeld - I always think of the good lines after the argument. To the morons out there I refer to having their head in a dark place with stale air. E-punks usually can't spell so its fun to point out all their typos, right in front of the whole forum.

  8. I wish I could see a diagram for the gun engine, sounds interesting. I purchased a Pit bike to fit the GEET / Heat exchanger device to. Will post developments

  11. Here's the best I could do after dark - engine is on right corner of pic, spare tires right behind rear wheel, couple boxes of nuts/bolts/removed gears right by the removed clutch cover (kicker is peeking out of one of the boxes).
  12. Comes with bill of sale, no title, spare tires - I traded a mint condition pitbike for it being told something minor kept it from engaging in gear. I've hear the engine run and its strong freshly rebuilt by previous owner. I bought spare charging system and harness just in case I'd be keeping it a long time. The engine won't shift into gear because the shift drum was improperly aligned when installed. I purchased a new shifter shaft as well because the splined end on the original one was worn pretty good. Great deal for the mechanically inclined individual willing to split the cases, fix the tranny and put the bike back together. I pulled the engine out and started stripping it down to fix it myself and got working on another project. So if you like single cylinder big bore 4 strokes here's your chance to fix it yourself and save bigtime.
  13. One of those little 125 - 150 cc little horizontal cylinder guys preferably in good shape good running condition Will pay or trade - I have a 1983 XR600 with transmission issues (was rebuilt by some guys who improperly installed the shift drum and now the engine doesn't shift through the gears - may need new shift forks. I pulled the engine out of the bike and never got the courage to split the cases. I saved all the nuts & bolts. No title - engine runs good, I kicked it over a few times myself. I traded a brand new DX125 (same as I'm looking for) back in may and now I have a project I'd be happy to trade someone else this big bore dirt bike. The bike doesn't have to be big 4 jap - any of the XR style knock offs will work for me.
  14. Summary - spark plug with pulse capacitor inside of it - http://www.pulstar.com - $25/ea boasting modest gains in fuel economy and horsepower. Anyone actually buy and try this plug? I've seen much discussion, not much actual 3rd party testing. Some forums say they have their best efect on Turbo Applications. Is it possible this plug stores the waste spark and shoots the both charges @ once?
  15. Sarcasm - that's where I say 'yes' with a straight face while I and all my friends laugh because the obvious answer was no. (Oh yeah, we're probably laughing at you)
  16. Swing'r I've been working on hydrogen generators working on electrolysis and pulsed electricity and so far gotten modest results at best. I'm currently building a GEET generator - . I'd use hydrogen & oxygen as the priming fuel and if it does what it claims it would continue with a self sustaining reaction after the primer is burned up.
  17. So if only the richest 1% of the nations tax payers are footing the bill for all the handouts to the 99% what happens when they all take their jobs/money/businesses out of the country?
  18. Formaldehyde - that's flammable too, I'm seeing a pattern here. Zorro, thanks for the tip. I wonder if exhaust heat that's just vented to the atmosphere may be recovered and help in the process?
  19. I shoulda mentioned bonding on the molecular level.
  20. This is for those geniuses out there - I've looked up the chemical equations on kerosene, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, starter fluid, and other flammable solvents and liquids, sugar, carbohydrates and so on. I'm finding a common theme - mainly carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and trace elements of other elements. It would seem to me that water could be turned into a fuel source if somehow some carbon could be introduced and bonded to it to make it combustible before entering the intake. I've been toying with hydrogen generators on my car and truck with modest results, and considering going other directions - we all know about CO and CO2 emissions in the exhaust, is there a way to run the exhaust through some water and have some of that carbon bond to the oxygen to create a flammable fuel?
  21. I'm afraid I agree with some of these thoughts:microwave: - our country appears to be headed towards socialism regardless of who's elected:broke:, the question is how fast to get there:puke:.
