  1. I owned a Super chicken for about 3 years. i loved it it did everything I wanted it to. i slabbed it from Philly to Detroit. I did several trackdays on it. I could wheelie the shit out of it. I had one problem I had a cam chain tensioner fail real close to the house. It tagged/bent a vavle. i lived in Indiana And Ruben helped me out getting it back together. he gave me all the advise and pressed in the replacement valves for me. The superhawk was way easy to work on. The only time I wanted to get rid of the Superhawk was when I was doing a top speed run at about 150mph and my friend on a tuned up R1 past me. Great bike !! Nick
  2. I am In..! I fall down all the time. Nick
  3. Dangerous=Fun... I have not rode my Tuono is about 2 weeks. I have not been doing anything to dangerous. i can admit I have bent a few traffic laws Looking for a link with info on cicrleville. Rules for motards, Do i need sliders...? catch cans...? cost....? Dates left this year...? can i run a TTR90 with knobbies...?
  4. I just finished my Motard. I would like to put it on track at Circleville. I looked at the website a bit yesterday. Does anybody know when the next open track (test and tune/trackday) is down there? Yota you got your ears on. Looking for some info on Circleville, lets play motards!! Nick

  8. Wacky-woodchuck I was out of town. Do you still have them? Would you be willing to ship them to Columbus? Give me a call so we can work something out. I could meet you someplace. I really appreciate it Thanks . Hoblick/Casper... I sent casper my phone # and I never got a call. I will still pick up the 160 tire just let me know when and where. The 160 I have on the bike now is rubbing a little bit on the chain. I would like to see if a different 160 does the same thing if it does then for sure I will need a 150. Thanks for all the help and generosity.
  9. Yoto yes She fired up no problem. Been riding it like I ride your mom (all the time). I still have some things to work on. I am just real happy to have it on the street. Thanks for all the compliments Nick
  10. Somebody is riding around on a bad ass White Motard with black rims. This individual should be considered silly because he always has a smile on his face. Suspect is on the loose in the Columbus metro area. He has already violated several members lawns and has left black skid marks at the club house. Proceed with caution suspect is know to wheelie at will and should be considered a threat to decent people on golf courses and public areas like stairs and bike paths. Do not attempt to apprehend suspect he will just dart across a soy bean field. just smile and wave this has been a civil service announcement Nick
  11. I never heard back from you give me a call. thanks again Nick
  12. Give me a call I pm'd you my # Nick I will need directions as long as the tire is safe I will take it.
  13. I need at least a rear for the XR628 motard. My friend Kieth is modifying a set of CBR F2 rims. i need a 150 or 160. I am not sure if the the 160 will fit with out rubbing on the chain. I would consider a 140 but not sure if it would work on that rim. the 140 is not ideal for that rim. i prefer the Avon Distanza or some rain take offs or something similar . Any street tire will do until I can afford a new set. I don't want to spend alot of money on a new tire and find out it wont fit. I hope to have some rubber by Monday. what do you have ??? Thanks Nick
  14. You will not be disappointed with the Tuono. I have 35 k miles on mine and she still asks for more. She has not cost me much in maintenance at all. AF1 is the place to go to get parts and ebay has some also. The insurance is cheap too. Buy one and you will be happy with it for a long time. It does everything I ask it to do from track days to sidewalks and parades. Nick
  15. Good job... I like it...I like it a lot.
  16. I will try and get some pictures up tomorrow.
  17. 1983 XR 350. I seen two other XR 350's in the Harescramble and a couple XR 200's also in the next class down. In the MX I was the only guy riding a trail bike everybody else was on old two stroke race bikes.
  18. I went Vintage Days and busted my racing cherry. I entered a Harescramble and a MX. What a great weekend!! I got my but kicked racing at Vintage Days. Friday was a mud fest in the woods during the Harescramble. Very slow and slippery I fell 4 or 5 times. I was exhausted. The Sunday MX was alot better. I thought I had a good start but by turn 3 I was in last place. I got past a guy and built up a lead on him when I stalled the bike. He passed me again and I was last. It took me 2 laps to catch him and I past him on the last lap with a couple turns to go. Thanks to my umbrella girls Kayla and Renee great job girls (Daughter and Wife). Thanks to all my friends from Desmohio who were there cheering me on. here is a facebook link i am having trouble posting pictures here http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/photo.php?pid=4718925&id=521523172&fbid=408515158172
