  2. 40 S&W Hydra-Shok® JHP

    Products > Handgun Ammunition > 40 S&W Hydra-Shok® JHP

hydra-shok-big.jpg Federal Premium handgun loads are the best around. Hydra-Shok® is the first choice for many military and law enforcement officials across the globe, while Expanding Full Metal Jacket (EFMJ) is unmatched in non-hollow point technology. EFMJ provides higher energy, more reliable expansion, lower risk of collateral damage and reduced recoil—vitally important features for a personal defense round.

  3. What is the most effective round for stopping power that is not going to break the bank?

I personally carry in my XD(M) 40 S&W Federal Hydrashocks like $26 for a box of 20. im also considering loading a mag with home safe rounds, forget the name of them but they are kinda like a shotgun load for pistols. wont go thru 2 sheets of drywall but will go into a person.

  4. what is a good tac light/ laser? i have a Sig Sauer again. the fisrt one i was sighting it in and the head broke off after like 6 rounds. i took it back and got a new one but havnt sighted it in yet. if this one breaks i want to get a different one but not sure what kind, any ideas? here are some pics of my springfield XD(M) 40 with light.

  5. Well i love the my Springfield XD(M) 40, but when i wear it inside the pants/ small of the back its kind of too much. its not bad when moving or while on the bike but sitting in a cage it sucks! Ruger SR9 is a great choice IMO, its light, almost no recoil, and pretty dead on out of the case.

  6. I hate to be the sacreligious one who times out a good sheep conversation when it's just gettin' goin' :D, but seriously for a minute........

i know i'll be there planned on meeting greg there! looking forward to meeting everyone that goes.

  7. I wasnt sure how i would like my Joe Rocket tank bag but its actually not too bad. i cant hug the tank as much as i would like but its kinda a nice resting pad for my chest plus my jacket cant scratch the paint. i guess when it all comes down to it it's rider pref.

  8. took my baby out for a ride today. i really like it but cant wait to see what it will do this spring. too much crap on the roads to play today. im wanting to go down to dragons tail this summer.

  9. Thanks all for the feed back. i took my ccw course yesterday and fired my xd(m) 40 for the first time and it was great. sorry to say but in my opinion way better then my glock 19 9mm. the grips were awsome along with the shorter, lighter trigger pull plus 17 40 rounds, damn i want to go back out and play. i think my next will be the xd(m) 9mm. i was shocked how much recoil there was but i was use to the glock 9 i guess.

  10. My brother has two, the 4in and the 3in of the .40 and he loves them and so do I. I plan on getting the new one (XDM) here soon in the 4in barrel. He said the 3in is a good CCW but for all round quality the 4in is great. He has never had a problem with wither of them. I love the sights and the feel of the weapon. The M will give you a few new aspects such as replaceable and cusomizable grips and gives you i think 16 or 17 rounds over 14 in the original XD.

I love the grips on my XD(M) 40 over the ones on the XD. its a 16+1 round cap. and the 9 is a 19+1 round. it will be my carry piece, nice big round lol
