There are different levels of the course you can take. The basic rider course most people take is the first one where you use their bikes and they teach you just the basics. The next level course you ride your own bike and they go into more detail of advanced riding skills.

Is that because you paid better attention after that or you slowed down? The last close call I had (ironically riding with Hutch ) slowed me way down the rest of the day, I just wanted to make it home Glad it didn't go bad for you!
  6. What are you doing tomorrow? Wanna ride. Planning on riding pretty much all day tomorrow. Me and Brandon are going, not sure if anyone else is coming.

  7. lol, you gotta be willing to try more than the wings! They have pretty good crab legs and I had a pound of steamed peel-n-eat shrimp last night, mmmm.

I'm thinking about a ride on Sunday. Going to run one of my little known favorite loops... 71 to 62 to 41 to 73 to 772 to 104 back to Cbus. Fun route, not a lot of other bikes.
  10. There's a chance of thunderstorms tonight so ride at your own risk. I'll be riding, the wife is coming up in the car.
  11. Tonight is the first night of this. Melissa and I usually go each week unless we are out of town, it's close to our house so we almost always go. Last year the turnout really dwindled down for some reason, I'm actually surprised they are doing it again, hopefully attendance will pick up this year! We usually are up there around 7:30ish. We will be there tonight.

  15. They don't care because (as someone has already stated) they don't have to. It is legal for a bicycle or bicycles to take the entire lane. And as previously stated, the idea is to make the car behind them make a proper pass by going out and completely around them rather than squeeze them off the road and possibly clip them. No different then coming up on a Amish Buggy, slow down, wait and pass. I know it pisses most of us off, even me, and I ride a bicycle on the street sometimes, but we have to share the road. PS. Glad to hear the guy that dumped the gsxr is going to be ok.
  16. This thumper I rode was a dog. Maybe next time I can ride something with more than one cylinder
  17. I was in the group with adrian, the guy on the gsxr was behind us. Hope he pulls thru ok! It was Blendon Township police that responded.

I felt the same way about XP until I bought a new pc and had no choice but to go with Windows7. I was reluctant but now I love it. The pc has crashed ONE time since I got it probably almost a year now. W7 is pretty solid.
  21. Yeah I saw the fb post too. We're gonna head up tomorrow night anyway around 7:30.
