  1. Oh god, I'm absolutely no good at judging times! Depends on when we roll out, traffic on 23, 56 etc . If you look at the miles I listed for each leg you can speculate on a rough time probably but I make no promises
  2. Was using Bob Evans as a reference, was planning on meeting in the mall parking lot out front to the west of the Bob Evans entrance off Broad. Are we up to 7 people, 6 bikes? Now I'm gettin nervous, never led more than 4 bikes I think , should be a nice day!
  3. Unless anyone else chimes in, it looks like it may just be you and I.
  4. Ok, here is the route. Meeting point: Westland Mall parking lot out front near Bob Evans, Westside of Columbus. 10am START: 270 and 23 on Southside of Columbus - 23 South to Circleville from 270 (19.2mi) - Left on 56 to 691 (49mi) - Left on 691 to 33 (9.8mi) - Left on 33 to 278 (2mi) - Left on 278 to 56 (8.1mi) - Right on 56 to 328 (4.1mi) - Right on 328 to 33 (9.6mi) - Left on 33 to 664 (3.8mi) - Left on 664 to 374 (9.7mi) - Right on 374 to 180 (9.5mi) - Right on 180/374 to 374 split (4.5mi) - Left on 374 to 33 (7.3mi) - Left on 33 to 270 (33.9mi) END: 270 and 33, SouthEast side of Columbus Total approximate miles: 170.5 miles Figured we'd start with full tanks at the meeting point and top off in Nelsonville at 278/33.
  5. @ Dying Shadow... working on a route plan now. Gonna head into hocking on 56 and come back from there on 33 with a zigzag pattern up/down thru the whole area. Will post the details once I finish it.
  6. Yep. It's hard nowadays to not remember, since the cable box and cell phones change on their own, really only leaves me like two clocks to set
  7. I was wondering about that too. Warm weather = lots of Harleys (no offense Hoblick ) and cars. I'm not looking for a really fast ride though so it shouldn't be too bad.
  8. Okay so looks like I'm gonna lead a small ride to/in/around Hocking SUNDAY. As of this posting, no official route has been planned, I will work on it later today. Meeting at 10am in the NorthWest corner of the Westland Mall parking lot, near the Bob Evans. Broad & 270 on Westside. There are a couple gas stations right there if you need to top off. Right now it's just me and Dying Shadow. First ride of the season, nothing crazy, moderate pace, couple three hours or so??
  9. I'll ride Hocking with you tomorrow. What time you want to head out and where you want to meet? I think you're in Columbus from your profile and FB page, what side of town? I'm on the west side, Hilliard area, Roberts Rd. I'll PM you with my cell number, the Google number in my sig doesn't ring my cell, it goes straight to voicemail. Do you have a route already in mind?
  10. Oh I know, and I usually do head away from the city, just not sure about this early in the season, probably going to stay close to home on Saturday and venture out farther away for most of Sunday afternoon.
  11. Yeah it wasn't supposed to be originally. I think I'm going to opt for a longer ride on Sunday and just putt around Cbus on Saturday.
  12. That's a little more riding than I'm looking to do on the first ride out, and some roads I'm not ready to hit this early either (ie. 555)
  13. I'm not looking to plan or lead, hoping someone else might have already been planning something. Should be a nice day!
  14. I did it. I fishtailed several times, hitting my left knee on the ground on the last slide but straightened it out and released the rear without high siding. Had to clean my pants afterwards, but I did it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2L2pn35Ulk&list=UUJP7J9xMXxkKlbcxn4l70VQ
  15. Plenty of time to downshift and hard brake.
  16. Where was she at?? The place was so damn crowded it was hard to even enjoy it. Did you see the blonde at the MuscleMag booth, she's in front in the picture I took, right before I took that shot she was facing the other way with her ass towards me, it was amazing, but then she turned and never faced that way again while I was there
  17. A couple other pics I snapped here... http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.3400100208844.2156105.1459957224&type=1&l=8a6eb64f5b
  18. No shit! Didn't get a chance to look at a lot of the exhibits cause there were so many damn people there, it was hard to stop moving, the dang flow of people keeps you moving lol. Anyway, I got to see Carmen , did NOT wait in the mile long line to get my picture taken with her, was more than happy to just get within 20' of her and snap some cell phone pics (will post a couple in a few minutes). Ended up parking in the Nationwide Arena lot across from the LC, fucking $15 but not a very far walk, so worth it I guess.
  19. You get what you pay for, they're free
