I never said I drank "well". I'm out of practice and past my drinking prime (about 20yrs past)

I just got back in from a short ride around Hilliard/Dublin, just 35miles but very therapeutic! Wind was pretty bad on the highway and the open country backroads.

Those that like to ride "balls-to-the-wall" don't usually get invites to one of my rides , and if they did they probably wouldn't come anyway.

I don't have a kid to come home to but do have the wife and plenty of other people that care about me so I try not to get in over my head. I've got no problem running fast on the highway or in straights but last season I had two close calls in turns that pretty much told me I was riding a little over my skills. I prefer to ride by myself or lead my own small groups, 3 or 4 bikes. By leading I can control the pace to my own comfort level.

I think he means while riding too, but he could chime back in and clarify. I don't drink and ride, period. But I do drink. Thats a well established fact, just ask anyone that was at the last OR Christmas party

Okay, I survived the MRI, that's out of the way. Took about an hour, it was a closed mri, but I have no problems with tight spaces, I actually slept thru most of it. If the tech wouldn't have kept talking to me I would have slept thru the entire thing I don't expect to find out anything from the doctor until after the Angiogram next week. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers everyone!

They are all over Cbus now too, they've been in the Cinci area for awhile. Running a radar detector anymore is about useless, it just goes off all the damn time. They are either for traffic monitoring like mentioned or they are simply dummy deterents to slow down people with radar detectors that aren't smart enough to realize what/where they are.

Oh how I know

This RFP is for a serious issue currently going on with yours truly. My facebook friends are probably already aware of it. I saw my family doc last week for some severe migraines I started having. Doc sent me for a head CT scan last Friday. Doc called me a few hrs after the scan (never a good sign) to let me know the scan revealed a "issue" in my right cerebellum, ironically, the area of my migraines. Doc explains the images indicate a possible AVM (arteriovenous malformation), a life-threatening condition that usually produces aneurysms. Doc refers me to a neurosurgeon for a consultation. Neuro doc explains that the image is only a preliminary assumption and that a AVM is the worse case scenario and that it could be a venous angioma, also referred to as a "developmental venous anomaly" (DVA) which is NOT life-threatening and actually doesn't really even require any treatment. A avm on the other had requires treatment, usually brain surgery to have it removed. Neuro doc has me scheduled for a MRI tomorrow and a Angiogram next week. Both tests are required to determine for sure what the situation is. Please keep me and my family in your prayers and thoughts and cross your fingers that it's a DVA and not a AVM! Obviously I'll keep you guys posted as I get information. And for now, "really" don't make me angry, cause my head might "really" explode (my attempt at lightening the mood)

I rode back there one day (back where Burlington Coat Factory used to be), lots of area but the conditions were terrible, broken glass and debris everywhere.
