  1. I'm down with the "earlier the better" too. Might want to reconsider 555, I was working in the Zanesville area today and right at the top where 555 begins @ 719 there was a "Road Closed 4miles Ahead" sign. Where and when we start I guess depends on the route we're gonna ride. You guys (1000RR / Tarr) work up a route and then I can figure out how to get us (Columbus folk) there I guess.

    Just a "heads up"

If you're hinting at what I think you are, you might want to delete your message, it could be a federal offense; assuming it is what I think you are hinting. Just sayin.
  3. Weather looks okay, high of 85 and partly cloudy. Looking forward to it. You guys do up the route, I'll follow (meaning "I'll try to keep up")
  4. Where are you gonna be in Columbus, what side of town? I'm on the Westside, near Hilliard/Roberts Rd area.
  5. Hmmm, we will be in NEO already when that one is planned, wasn't going to bring my bike but maybe I will now, not sure. We have a family reunion in Lorain that weekend.
  6. Nice tags jbot . Haven't run 555 on my FZ6R yet. The conditions of that road fluctuate so much though. I'm down for anything early Sunday. 1000RR and Tarr can make up the route and lead, that way I can ride in the middle somewhere or back and run my gopro (til I run out of hd and batt life)
  7. There are Where are the threads about 'em? I musta missed them.
  8. I could be down for a early morning Sunday ride. Haven't checked the weather, I think its supposed to cool down abit this weekend. I prefer Sundays and the earlier the better so this could work out. I'm not the best tour guide for Hocking but I go thru there enough that I could probably make up a route. Will check back here later.
  9. I think it's funny that Sam has ignored every persons question/reply about the plain and simple fact that the bike can still be picked up and carried away
  10. This happened while we were in Lorain over the holiday, the rider has since died of massive head injuries (no helmet), the driver of the suv that struck the rider was drunk AND fled the scene, he was caught thanks to a good samaritan that chased him down until police caught him. http://www.morningjournal.com/articles/2010/07/06/news/doc4c32a0698bceb739627837.txt While we were in town over the weekend we saw very few people wearing ANY gear up that way. Even the few sportbikes we saw, I only remember seeing two of them wearing helmets, no other gear
  11. Terrible circumstances in this one, RIP rider... http://www.morningjournal.com/articles/2010/07/06/news/erie_huron/doc4c32a08ea648a073478829.txt
  12. Ahh it's good to be home , missed all this fun over the weekend being out of town with no interwebz!
  13. Ohhh, you're back. Missed you
  14. So you're sayin Sam <3's me, awww.
  15. But that deer is DEAD and you're not, don't you ever forget that!
  16. He started it. Called me a dumbass and told me to stfu, over terminology , clearly he didn't notice my avatar:lol:
  17. Wheel lock , disc lock, the end result is the same thing, wheel doesn't move, you're arguing about terminology. I don't want your bike anyway Sam, lighten the fuck up. No need for name calling, geez.
  18. Probably just trying to lessen the chance of someone getting their plate number.
  19. I'm looking at their website right now. How the hell can you say its NOT a wheel lock when thats what it does???? Lockksssss theee wheeeelll. My point in my other post was that the bike can still just be picked up and put in a truck just like in the video, RoadLok'd or not. Quoted from superbike.co.uk.... February 15, 2010 - Alan Dowds Clever one this. Bike security firm Roadlok has released a new disc locking system which actually bolts onto the radial brake calipers on your bike. A cunningly-crafted aluminium bracket, designed by British moto-design ace John Keogh, holds a hardened steel security pin which locks into your brake disc, preventing movement. And unlike conventional disc locks, it won't cause any damage if you try and ride off with it in place - the wheel doesn't move at all, so you won't be able to build up half-a-wheel-turn of speed before smashing your mudguard and wrecking your disc.
  20. Uhh, yeah it is. So it's permanently mounted, it's still just a wheel lock.
  21. The video posted above in post 24 clearly shows a front wheelock is useless.
  22. Sorry to hear, don't know of anything at the moment but will keep my ears open.
