  1. I've been running them for about 5 or 6 yrs they work great. Ran them in my zx14 for about 25k miles even found $1.84 several times and probably around 100 passes at the drag strip and 16k miles so far on the vision always have nice even tire wear with no cupping.

  2. If your job requires specific safety shoes/boots, the employer is required to provide the information (and preferably a source) and/or provide the boots for you per OSHA (they're considered PPE).

They will reimburse me for the first pair up to certain amount after that they have a company I can order through or get reimbursed.

  3. According to their law, we can carry it concealed as long as we don't get off our bikes...then it must be locked inside the vehicle...so just locking it in a saddle bag would meet the letter of the law. Me, I am unloading in Indiana and putting it in a gun case.  Tempted to bring the 460.

I always unload gun and lock gun in one bag ammo in the other I don't want to give those commie bastards any excuses.

    Have a safe trip guys

  4. Hey guys I'm getting ready to start a new job and will be required to wear safety toe boots or shoes which I have not had to do since '97. What brands do you recommend looking at and what brands should I avoid? I'd prefer lightweight and comfy.

  5. Woa, we will have to plan our gas day 2 and 3. There ain't crap out there. I see lots of places at 100 miles...but we better not miss them.

There are some areas going across SD where gas stops get kind of scarce we've had a couple times where we were really wondering if we'd make the next stop because we passed one up trying to push it a little further.

  6. I bought my pump at a bicycle shop was around $30 works great. A mechanic at local bike shop told me just keep in mind every time you double check the pressure with another gauge you are losing 3-4 psi more if that gauge has a hose extension.

  7. Looks like a blast guys. I haven't read through everything but be sure to hit Vanocker Canyon nice ride. Watch your speed in SD they don't allow much leeway. I had the wife pick me up an ez-pass holder at bed bath & beyond was like $10 black plastic with suction cups. I'd join you guys but I cant do two Sturgis runs this year

  8. Similar issue, was a guy on a goldwing. I'm headed up 46 on the xx, doing about 60. This guy blows by me doing 80-85 in my lane. I say "ok, guess we're moving now" and climb up behind him. We're doing 80 to 90, and we come up to a "S" curve, 35 mph suggested, right first, he completely blows the turn and hits the opposite white line before making his way back into the correct lane...Nuts.

Just another one looking to get killed on that "S"

  9. No desire for a road couch, never have and never will. And if I ever do, it would be a 160hp BMW K1600GT over any slow sloth that makes a bunch of noise and likes to impede the flow of traffic. ;)

I never thought I would like a big slow couch either but now that I have it I love it and I can still smoke the cocky new HD riders

  10. I love to mess with Squids its always fun to act like you want to race at a light and then when the light turns green watch them rocket off at 150 throw the intersection like a dumb ass  it still makes me laugh every time. I know a lot of my buddies do the same thing. We all started on rice burners so we know better.  We were all young and dumb at one time but you do not live to be and old rider if you say that way.

    Well said my friend
