  1. What's with all the "anti-Harley" sentiment? All Motor-Bike's are fun. What you ride is your choice ! I've owned a little of everything over the years and enjoyed them all. God , some of you sound ignorant as all hell ......

  2. Even up here in the snow-belt you can ride quite a bit if you can brave the temp's. The salt is brutal on alloy's and requires frequent washing or your machine ages cosmetically way fast . The "salt" is the worst thing about it !

  3. I think I'm shocked the most over losing a valve. It must be a starting/weight issue. With the intake and FI up front it only makes sense inertially why this may be the future. Although not quite as innovative as the 2009 Husaberg , its another "WOW".

    What's next ... ABS and gyro's ?

It will be interesting to see how these rate and hold up,the ergonomic's make sense.

What's next? ABS and gyro's ? Yamaha and Husaberg/KTM have been ground-breakers with 4-stroke technology...remember folk's ragging on Doug Henry's debut of the 400F in Vegas

  9. I've done this ride in past years and alot guys tie their street-bike plate on, throw on a rear-view mirror, and don't have any problems. I'm not saying it's right but it makes sense to look legal ? My WR isn't technically street legal, but my DT400 plate makes it all look legit ! A lot of locals jump in on the trails and tag along for free. The AMA does look over each bike at the start for head-light , tail-light , plate , mirror.

These events are not races .... they are "rides". (and they are a blast)

If your not a C+ , B rider .... your not gonna make the A-lines.

  10. I've had great luck with mine, just watch yourself loading and unloading. I watched a guy years ago pop-out his rear window on an S-10 Blazer. I drop the rear window on my 4runner .....just in case! I would'nt go over 300# either. Class 3 hitch's may be rated for 500# tongue weight, but I think thats pushing it.
