  1. Buddies Champion's Edition 2001 R1
  2. Holy ballz, I was out on the RC today.... first time in about 5 months and it was a good time! Went to the C..Anal Boat haha in Canal Fulton for a steak and fries with my old man and a buddy. I'll have to get some pics of my buddies R1 champion's edition, 60k miles and looks mint, he rides it everywhere. Sorry for the shitty pics not the same camera I was using yesterday.
  3. Hahaha, I probably threw that guy out of Moe's before. I got my Biology undergrad degree at CofC and was a bouncer at Tsunami, Banana Joe's, Meritage, and filled in at Moe's. I think my buddy still runs the security organization that staffs Moe's. On a side note hence Charleston's name... the lowcountry, it's so flat that the best corner was the exit ramp to my house on James Island. If you head upstate though to the greenville/spartanburg area there is some phenomenal riding, table rock, caesar's head, saluda (into NC,) pickup the blueridge parkway.
  4. Were the heck is Wooster anyway? I know i could look it up, but this gives you a chance to post more. About 55 miles southwest of Cleveland or 2 hours northeast of Groveport. Yes and turn signals. I'm either going to rig something up for at least one mirror or just order a left bar end mirror. Thanks for all the compliments guys. My family just asked me if I was going to sell the RC-51 also, because I bought that R6 and sold it in two weeks....I told them I would never sell the RC if I didn't have to.
  5. It wasn't a guy from Barberton was it? When I bought that R6 a couple weeks ago, the guy also had a mint 2003 RC-51 in the garage. He said he got it two years ago from a dealership in Columbus that had just opened up. He said Honda stipulated that they had to buy some older bikes too and his RC was still in the crate. He said he actually pulled the crate apart and there was a mint 03 RC-51 back in 2006 with 0 miles. It had 1,000 miles on it when I saw it and he apparently sold it a couple days after I bought the R6 for around $6,000. It was unbelievable seeing something that clean.
  6. Oh sweet mother of Mary another RC owner and a SP-1 to boot! I'd love to ride with another twin sometime, as I've only gotten to ride with a husband and wife on his and her's 1098's down 800....the RC-51 with its fat kid loves cake weight and outdated technology still kept up
  7. Definitely, I can't wait to get out, I walk the stage for the second time this Saturday and then have about a month till boards so hopefully time will be on my side.
  8. Thanks guys, it's good to have her back in working order. Haha don't hate you have a pretty sweet harem of copper ladies yourself.
  9. I'll second that or Dos Equis is always a good substitute if there is no Yuengling. Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout for a darker beer. Franziskaner for a good Hefe-Weisse. Also, Sam Adams Uncle Fezziwig for a good winter seasonal Ale or for a unique taste, out of a wheat beer from Sam Adams, try Cranberry Lambic....."What is it you're period, haha."
  10. RC-51 almost finished being put back together. Lowsided on rt60 last year added some things. Found a complete set of plastics out of California. Had Mark at carbonwerks make me carbon mirror block offs, fender and clutch cover. Pazzos and Driven grips from Motomummy. #1 Hayden decals in red instead of the pink. Took my hand at powdercoating and did the Moriwaki rearsets, sprocket and fairing stay. Put Puig smoked windscreen on, still need to order stomp grip. Heat wrapped the pipes and in the process of putting the old school Sato Racing emblem back on the cans (as seen in the picture by the superflous amount of zip ties.) Looking for some type of turnsignals that look good, probably go with protons but $100 is a lot for turn signals. In need of another bar end and a very good cleaning, will get on that ASAP! Other stuff already on the bike -520 conversion -Sato pipes -Hyperpro dampner -PCIII -Goodridge brake lines front/rear -Moriwaki rearsets -Dussault Undertail
  11. A ninja huh....you win...I'm out, unless it's this kind of ninja.
  12. I'm actually a somoa man myself, tagalongs are pretty darn good though.
  13. Did yah print off another batch? Haha, you busted me printing off another batch, actually there was a story on the news about some people getting busted for printing off phony money and buying girl scout cookies with it. Wanna shoot some pool , might double that ?? I dunno about pool, I'm no Minnesota Fats... even though he never really won a major pool tournament. Maybe some cage fighting though haha. so how much is that then.. i count 4400.. There's actually a couple more Franklin's lurking under his brothers.
  14. I actually thought of that. If I can just keep finding inexpensive bikes and making a little money on each one I might finally be able to get the RC8 to park next to my RC51, either that or I will have to wait until I get done with anesthetist school and pay back my loans.
  15. Better start singing BALLIN' again, looks like I'm back in the game. I had an offer too good to refuse and I sold the R6. I'd love to pick up a 06 non S R6 or 05 gsxr 1k.
  16. PM sent 5 days ago still awaiting a response please.
  17. Haha, I don't think you'd like the way the RC's looking right now. All the fairings are currently off. Awaiting new clipons, once those go on, the driven grips and pazzos go on, hyperpro stabilizer, then the puig smoked windscreen, stomp grip, carbon clutch cover is already on, carbon front fender still needs to go on and carbon mirror block-offs. I am having one hell of a time fiding a replacement peg for the moriwaki rearsets. I am going to break down and modify a set of Gilles pegs. I powdercoated the rearsets black and they look pretty sweet. I already heat wrapped the Sato's pipes and I'm thinking about ordering carbon sleeves for the canisters. I'm also going to take the rear sprocket off and powdercoat it. We'll see how long it takes before the PC gets chewed off the teeth. It sucks having all these parts just waiting until I find the clipons I want. I love the LSL's but cannot justify spending that kind of money on them. I want to pick up some inexpensive 50mm clipons off of the wera forum but they sell like hotcakes over there. Once I get out to my buddies shop I'll post up some pictures and show the progress, not this weekend though I'll be caring for sniffling noses and STD's in the ER.
  18. Hahaha sweet finally Quagmire makes an appearance. I'll be waiting for everyone's favorite ephebophile Herbert....mmmm "What's going on in my pants looks like 6 more weeks of winter." Haha you guys don't even know the half. I picked up that 929 I had with a clean title for $1800 cash. The guy just built a house and was desparate for cash. It came with a carbon high mount devil pipe and puig smoked windscreen. I painted it ppg paint $178/qt, threw on galfer stainless lines, 520 conversion, DID ERV3, with driven sprockets, powdercoated rearsets and passenger pegs, grips, flushies, integrated tail lights, black wheels with polished lip, new qualifiers, had about $2500-$2600 total wrapped up in it, sold it for $3900. I also picked up a 1988 Isuzu Trooper II originally from California no rust. Clean title, new belts, pumps, new 31" mud tires, locking hubs, lsd, magna flow exhaust, calmini headers, new head, class V hitch, mint interior and exterior, 5-speed, higher miles 199k but those Troopers run like beasts. I got it for $900 cash. Been to hell and back in that thing, actually towed a 16' trailer all the way to Cinccy and back and didn't blow it up. About 5-6 years ago I got my 2001 R6 for like $4,100. The kid was deathly afraid of it and just wanted to sell it. Pretty good deal for back in the day. I always just wait and search and show up with cash. It is very hard for people to refuse a wad of cash if it's not that far off of what they are asking, especially if you make it an easy transaction and drive to them to pick up the vehicle and take a notary with you.
  19. You're really going to hate this then. About two years ago, I picked up my RC-51 with 11k miles for $4,000. The kid was getting engaged and needed money. It came with sato exhausts, goodrich front/rear brake lines, daussalt undertail, 520 conversion DID ERV3 chain, +1,-2 sprockets, moriwaki rearsets, PCIII and a map from Dan Kyle, red powdercoated wheels with polished lip, flush mounts and it was mint with a clear title.
  20. Check your PM's. JRMMii....hahahaha nice, you should have seen this guy's RC-51. He told me he sold it the next day for like $6k I believe. It was beyond mint.
  21. You're not going to like this answer....but yes.
  22. Thanks, he was sticking to his price, until I pulled that wad of cash out of my pocket and then he caved like a grown man at a Hannah Montana concert. I kind of felt bad cause he lost his job and was trying to liquidate some stuff, but I didn't feel that he was hurting that badly when he rolled up in a newer 5-series BMW.
  23. Picked this baby up on the weekend. The guy selling was a cut and dry seller, the best kind. He also had a 02 RC-51 with 1000 miles, said he bought it in 2006, from a dealer in Columbus and got it straight from the crate. I about jizzed in my pants when he pulled the cover back and I saw something so mint. The r6 is pretty nice too, a couple very light scratches, 5,693 miles. It was his wife's bike. He said she never let him ride it and she never took it over 65mph. All stock, about 50% tread left on he 208's. I threw it up on craigslist just for shits and giggles, since it's tax refund time and people have money. I'm always buying and selling bikes, and if this doesn't sell modding it will be like starting from a blank canvas!
  24. Got any bigger pictures of the damage you could send to aradamro@yahoo.com, like I mentioned before I'm only working with $4,000 and not going to be able to come up with more than that. BTW I have a great respect for people in the military and I appreciate you serving your country and preserving our freedom, good luck over there. Casper, I'm not looking to pick up another liter bike. I'd love to have a zx10 but if I was gonna do that I'd keep saving and pick up an 08, good luck on the sale.
  25. Anyone find a good deal on a red 600rr. I've been in class and pulling some 12's in the ER so pretty busy and haven't been searching too much lately. I did see a red 07 600rr go for $4900 at Skipco, it wasn't perfect by any means (minor scrapes on right side, tank and small crack in front fairing) and the bank may not have even let it go for that price though.
