  1. if and when the need arise my AK will serve the purpose. scoped and custom stock and forarm for weight and comfort. semi-auto for most accuracy, 7.62x39 for saving on cost of ammo and options in rounds available. I wish no harm on anyone but will protect and defend my property and family. With the current social situation self protection may be the only way to survive. home invasions, grocery store robberys and abductions, small business robberys and car jackings and robbery are on the rise. City budget cuts causing police and fire dept. layoff give citizens no other option but to protect themselves in certain situations. my wife will be taking the ccw class very soon. she saw for herself a situation where my carry kept us out of harms way at a local gas station one late Sat. night where I stoppen for gas and cigs. I had paid the attendent for the cigs and went to the pump for my gas. 3 young men/white men, approached me insisting my jacket belonged to one of them. it of course did not. my wife was in the car, I was pumping gas. I overheard their conversation, each one trying to boost the others resolve to confront me, take the jacket and car with my wife inside. I stopped pumping gas and faced them at about 10-12" away, opening my jacket to reveal my Dan Wesson 357mag in the sholder holster which I put my hand on and said, "guys this is NOT a very good idea." They all stopped in their tracks, looked at each other, muttered a few words, I heard this is not a good idea and they all 3 ran off. The station attendent got my attention and told me she had called the police. They arrived very shortly after I finished pumping my gas. I explained what happened, showed my liscence and made a statement for their report. I never heard any more from the cops. My suggestion to ALL is this, "watch your back."
  2. have noticed from the past, when you do carry there will be situations arise that need options. When you pull your weapon there is only one option. The CCW liense to carry gives you options that an illeagle carry do not allow. Know the laws, follow those laws, know the consequences of your actions and be prepared to defend your actions if and when you do fire your weapon. Make your first shot count, there is NO free pass for innocent casualtys.
  3. teaching virgins the ropes can be very rewarding. they know only what you can teach and learn from experience and can be VERY grateful to experience the great and powerful BIG O. I myself am a closet lesbo. Have had experience in turning a wanta be Lesbo into the light of following the path with a male partner to the BIG O. Do NOT allow a Bull into your cave. AS It will endeavor to turn your fem to the dark side.
  4. your safety is your consern. accepting the limits of your ability..priceless!
  5. another freedom infrindged on with a NEW law. Cagers clame all to often they didn't see the bike they caused to wreck. Your safety is your responsability. Your attention to traffic, your experience in emergency situations, may be the only thing between you and road rash or oblivioun.
  6. looking good for friday and sat.
  7. made many trips with my wife, me on my Honda Arow and her an a 650Yamaha. About 7000miles each summer. 2yrs ago I traded for an 06 RoadKing and she bought an 04 Softail Heritage. The past 2 seasons we put 15000 on each of our bikes. Instead of stopping to rest every 50miles we can now ride 100miles then fill up the tank and continue on our way.
  8. sure it didn't go unnoticed by the masses either. just a little cold shoulder going on there.
  9. New to the site but an Old time biker
