  1. you know the specs on it? If she isn't running a modern processor with at least 2 GB of RAM, I say new computer
  2. by the way, can we stop saying MAC vs PC? Its MAC vs Windows. They both run on PCs

  5. I just saw that on the news also! Like you said, my jaw literally dropped when I saw it until they said she was okay. Maybe mommy will keep a closer eye on her from now on?
  6. NO. Don't do that. Coming from a linux-only home. Linux just isn't for the average user yet. Its getting close, but still has a long way to go. I love it, but I'm not the average user.

    Whoah.

wow! No foot chases because three officers have been hurt in the past two years. What a moron. Talk about politicians out of touch with reality. Being a cop isn't all coffee and donuts, you stupid bitch. Dayton would be giving bonuses if that was the rate at which LEOs were hurt. Maybe make it harder to make a claim? Instead of paying 1,000 dollars for a broken finger, etc
  8. Norton sucks. Seriously, get avast. Norton is a resource hog (makes your computer slow)
  9. "HDs handle so bad, they laid down the semi carrying them to the dealership."
  10. and why would you want to run an "inferior" operating system on your MAC? ^^ that right there is your answer. MAC is just a synonym for "cool". They have to run windows on their MAC to get any work done.
  11. Disagree... If you are tech dumb, get a PC. You don't want to have to figure out which programs will or won't work with your MAC, and how to get them to work. More people know how to use PCs, which will get you more help when you're in a jam. With a MAC, you'll have to pay someone to do it/fix it, or you'll have to figure it out yourself. Get a PC, load it with Avast anti-virus software (free), and don't look MAC. err, I mean back

if you keep them needy, they're more likely to come back
  17. srsly. I hate Huber! I honestly believe that to be true about TPT. Huber is where my MX-5 got wrecked into when some ghetto white trash ran a red light in his sweet ass Corsica with rims. I'm pretty sure he was pissed I ruined his rims and shit. Thats the kind of attitude those pieces of trash have. They don't care about anyone else, its never their fault, and everyone is out to get them, especially "the man"

  19. but this thing is going to be playing for me: source: http://gizmodo.com/5362382/deep-green-pool+playing-robot-ready-to-hustle-and-terminate What IBM's Deep Blue computer is to Chess, Deep Green may soon be to the felt table. The impressive system of cameras and robotic gantries, from the computer vision lab at Queens University, is already at a "better-than-amateur level". What's also cool is that the technology has spun off an augmented reality projection. It basically lets you cheat and line up shots like you can playing a pool video game. I'm betting it won't be long until we see that sort of thing show up in night spots where drunk folk can appreciate the eye candy. Oh, and unless you're a handbag trance fan, turn down your speakers for the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AENJxqR0g48
  20. I did that long ago with a freeware font editor and some mspaint skillz (and a scanner of course)
