  1. Gates open at 3 with tech and everything - bikes on track at 5ish... It's not a 3 group day and again, you really ought to try a three group day vs. an LED...

Ok thanks iam going to see what i can find out. But the thing i dont understand is that why would they let my buddy sign up being his first track day ever? I will let you guys know what i find out. Thank for trying to not get me killed lol

  2. not being a dick:

    Saturday, August 21 (Max-Time Twilight)

Max-Time Twilight Events: Open to experienced INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED riders. Intermediate riders will take the track for one 15 minute warm up session and then the advanced riders will do the same. Following the warm up sessions, all riders will be on track at the same time for the remainder of the event. Instructors will still be available to assist you at any time and the checkered flag will fly every 1/2 hour to insure that you come into the pits, take a break and get a drink before heading back out for more fun. To enroll in one of these events you should have ridden in intermediate or advanced levels at least 3 times in the past 12 months. This is to make sure you are comfortable riding with intermediate and advanced riders at the same time. These events have a riding start time of 5:00pm and an end time of DUSK. Remember, that means the ending time will vary depending on what month of the year these events are held.

No dude your not being a dick at all! I was kinda confused at first to.

But (and i think iam going to call) i am pretty sure this one is a little different cause i am pretty sure they asked my buddy if this was his first time and all. Also sats. event starts at 3 where most max time starts at 5 But that may not mean anthing.

  3. LEDs are for experienced intermediate riders. If you only have one day, the LED is probably not for you. It is run with Intermediates and Advanced riders together...

They are running all 3 groups sat. advanced, intermediate, and novice My friend signed up and its his first trackday. So he signed up for the novice group of course.

  4. just get with one of the instructors after the first session and ask him to show you around.

you might be able to get some more personal instruction with intermediate.

O yea i will be working with the instructors, one iam related to and good friends with another. I just was seeing who was all running the same class. I followed some guys around last time and it just helps to see if there anything you can pick up as far as lines and different stuff. Ill be useing my first 3 or 4 sessions to just try and get back in a flow of things.

  5. Good deal! Anybody running intermedate class that maybe sometime during the day i could follow some. I did a track day in june but ran novice. They bumped me up to the intermedate class so i thought it would fun to maybe follow some guys i know around there and maybe learn from the pros. lol

  6. Yeah I work 730 to 330 so I wouldn't be able to make that

You can always meet me at my house Aug 21st if you would like, i live 5mins from the track . Then thats way your not looking for somebody you dont know at the track. Ill be more then happy to show you how things go and introduce to some of the coachs so you could even ask questions if youd like. Let me know and ill send yea my address and phone number.

  7. Great idea you got! I would deffently go watch one before you do one, I did and it helps just to see how things go before you do and find your self spinning in circles not knowing whats going on. I will be doing a track day aug 21st at mid ohio from 3-dusk?

Its on a sat. which might help. You are more then welcome to come hang out. I will be helping my buddy do his first track day also. Please feel free to come out and see how things flow it really does help.

  8. I'm curious, how many times people have track days in the novice group before moving to intermediate?

Yea it all depends after you do a novice day if you feel comfortable moving to intermediate. I got to do a session with the intermediate guys

and it was sweet i got passed on the inside of turn one that was AWESOME, and i got to pass a guy. As long as you hold your line the fast guys will pass you before you even have time to worry about some one behind you. If you wanna move in small steps try going with the fast novice group(they were moving really good) next track day if you feel like you want to go even faster then ask to be bumped to intermediate.

  9. I take it by youre name that you were riding the red cbr? If thats right pm me your email and what group you were riding in and ill see if my wife got any. She took like 500 hundred pics so you might be in one, they are not professional pics but it will be something to show the family.
