It's been a minute since I've been on here, but wanted to put out the invite to everyone on here. The shows no big deal, and just kind of testing the waters to see how it goes. So a very boring race came down to fuel mileage and francitti (sp?) took the checkers under caution after a VERY nasty wreck on lap 199 between hunter-rhey and conway. The race did have some a few good moments, but yea, like i said overall not much passing going on.

tyler if that 250 of yours has a 6.0, look into the egr delete kits. from what i've read, usual gains are around 40-50whp and of course more tq. whatever ford did with that setup they really screwed the pooch. thats the only real mod on mine and i know that my 350 last night stayed in front of a 99 mustang gt by a good truck length from 35-90ish mph. i honestly dont think he could of came around me till 120ish, but i'm not tryin to run this big fucker that fast. ( In Mexico...of course.) These things are really amazing with what they can do.i have no doubt that by the time i get this truck ready for a tuning session it will have zero prob making over 450 whp and possibly double that in tq. and hopefully the ability to get around 20-25mpg.

Here's the deal. Just got the truck sat, everything was cool. sunday night the truck cut out goin down the highway, like lost power, went to idle, gauges dropped, howerever the engine didnt die. it picked right back up so i didn't worry. well yesterday morning it died right after i started it leaving for work. abs light keeps flickering and half the time it dies out the fuel water light comes on. it did this probably 5-6 times then finally started acting right and ran decent all the way to work. it acted up a bit in the lot at work when i was leaving, but again cleared up. well now tonight after working all night on swapping interior, i head home from my garage and its doing nothing but cuting out, dying, barely even boosting up at all. it cleared up for a second on the way, but then stalled at a traffic light. well i made it home, barely.... Now i was going to drain the primary filter but i cant get the damn cap off, plus i really dont think it mechanical, because there's moments were the truck regains full power and runs strong as hell. i'd say alternator maybe? i just replaced the batteries sunday as they were down on power, and under warranty anyway. but the abs light deal and the fuel/water light, and oh yea, the little squiggly line light under it lights up when it cuts out under load, well those make me think its something else. the engine light, trans light, batt light and any other warning light for that matter have yet to come on. Truck is an 04 F350, 6.0 diesel, 5R10W trans, 4x4, and has 92,xxx. half a tank of fuel, all fluids look good. i'm lost.....

Why even bother with the water?

hey is sct the best way to go? and can dyotune do diesels? he did wonders for my mustang. exhaust is ordered. full 4" mbrp or something. i'm gonna make my own 4" CAI and box for it, not a big fan of an open element in the engine bay. also, whats the best additie to run as far as cyl lube? i heard this ultra low sulfer shit thats at all the pumps is hard on motors not made for it. And i am fuckin lovin this thing. i had no idea a truck this big can move out like it does.

Mustang is around 8.5-11k, truck is 17-20k. the trucks not perfect, needs a lil work on the front end, and cleaned up and detailed something horrible. But yea in the end i'm coming out way ahead, plus i plan to put a plow on it this winter. never got the mustang to make me any money lol.
