  1. Awesome bro, reminds me I need to take a vacation on the bike this year. Flew to CA, been using the bike more than the car, but there's nothing like seeing new places from inside the helmet. Curse my schedule!
  2. This thread was fail, now it is full of win
  3. I made the switch to a supersport from the Viffer. More grins per mile, and surprisingly the bike has more personality, but it's just not a do it all bike. Especially when it comes to rough pavement or carrying a passenger. I'll rock it for another year or two and then it's time for a second bike or replacement. Honda needs to do something, Triumph absolutely destroyed them when they redesigned the Sprint ST imho.
  4. Mars Volta> At The Drive In > Everything else The more you listen the better it gets, I had Frances and Amputechture collecting dust on my shelf until I finally ripped them onto my iPod and REALLY listened to them. However, knowing that I will never see ATDI live makes me feel empty inside.
  5. Sad, but true. No real updates since the 6th came out in 2002. I don't think Honda sees Sport Touring as one of their money makers. This thing might be an XX, but I'm excited to see it in the flesh.
  6. But how would she feel about you being exposed?
  7. She's a girl, someone is going to ask her this question sooner or later. Let me play you a little tune called: "My Heart Bleeds For You"
  8. I came up with a better adjective: restrained. Not my preference, but the aforementioned gratuitous jamming has put many people off.
  9. Also check out "At the Drive In - Relationship of Command" while you're at it, old school goodness. First day impression of Octahedron- Wow, mellow. My typical draw to the Volta is the ability for the all-out-spaz-attack-melt-your-face-off-hold-still-we-know-what-we're-doing jam session. This is not so much the case here, they've come unplugged. Yes, there's still plenty of rocking moments such as "Teflon" and it's catchy chorus or "Cotopaxi" holding it's fury for less than 4 minutes, probably because the drummer's arms would otherwise fall off. From the longview this album could maybe be best described as "heartfelt." Without the frenetic pace and significantly less effects, it comes across as more sincere. I miss the lack of tension and crescendo, but this is a nice change of pace. Now I wonder if this is the beginning of a trend or if The Mars Volta is just taking a calming deep breath, readying their next battle cry. **** 4/5, it's not The Mars Volta as I know it but it is a welcome addition to the collection. I'm sure it will continue to grow on me as their other cd's have.
  10. I vote yes, My new motto is: "Socialism, what's the worst that could happen?" I will leave it ambiguous
  11. Dude's really getting into this. I hope Obama rides motorcycles, in Ohio, and visits this site.
  12. I just voted, and then I found out you don't even know them. I feel like I just fixed the special olympics.
  13. Dude! Don't jump into the ring until the match is over. Still think Justin is making the most sense.
  14. I will concede to Magz' points. The gf hates the R6, so add pillion to that list.
