So I'm off to Long Beach California Wednesday for an International Convention and will be there for a week. A few of those days I will have nothing to do and I really want to ride some scenic routes. However, rental prices look like highway robbery, one site said about $240 to ride a Ninja 250 for a day. Does this seem high to anyone else? Maybe I could go into a dealership and score a test drive, then bring it back with about 500 miles on it? Need ideas here people.

The 79S to 16W ramp is absolutely amazing, but the rest are real broken up. Oh and I agree, it's not a great area for driving. Especially in Heath, lots of ricers and squids.

Well, not just this CBR, but with the current market for bikes something bigger is either going to be previously downed and/or need work. Otherwise it will probably sell for a little more. It is very rare that anyone trades down to a 250, that move is almost always one way (as in your case). There are always bargains out there but you have to check Craigslist constantly.

Need to look out for something like this for my little bro. What's the ballpark price on something like that?
