As Zoolander said, I need to tame the beast before I let it out of the cage...
I just got the tires and brake pads in today, going to grab some stands and get this stuff mounted. If I can score a brake bleeder somehow tomorrow I should be good, at least for the first wave of parts. Have a front rotor set coming later this week as well as some SS lines, going to do the brakes right.

More complicated, but better:
Scorpion Alarm (i500, i600, i900) or equivalent. These alarms have three dimensional movement sensors and optionally perimeter alarms, plus remote notification to a pager-like device. The instant someone starts to screw with the bike, your pager goes off. Expect to pay $250 (used) to $500 (new, top-of-the-line) for this kind of solution with remote notification.

Damn, that really blows about the title. Good to hear you finally have it in hand.
I got the majority of the little stuff I wanted to do to it done, already changed all fluids, new front rotors (left one was warped when I got it), new tires (rear had a HUGE flat spot), stainless lines front/rear, new brake pads, Pazzo shorty levers and Progrip grips. My only thing this winter is to figure out what I'm going to do about plastics, the front cowl is all fux0red, tabs broken, fitment issues, the works. If I can get a decent OEM replacement for that and the right ram air cover, I'll have Paul (attackpainter) repaint it. If I can't, I'll try for the aftermarket ebay fairing sets. Either way, it's going to be a spicy meatball. I thought about the gear indicator too, that sounds like a decent mod.
You need any help with the brake pads or just finding a place to wrench, let me know. I've accumulated a decent tool set with both bikes, and brake pads are ridiculously easy to change.

I prefer m-m-m-MONSTER SNAP! I also used to play entirely too much Unreal Tournament.

I should have them rotating between the koala, kangaroo, and the emu. All the pics are here: http://www.binaryshower.com/gallery. I haven't really gone through the Aussie or Czech ones, I'll try and work on that this week.
