Now I know most of you guys and gals probably arent lawyers, but I'm hoping to get some info from you based on past experiences. I got nailed doing 81 in a 65 the other day in Dayton on 675 near the Greene and I did not have proof of insurance on me. I got home and went to print out a new card and low and behold, my insurance was expired. Apparently the way I had it set up, it did not auto-renew. So now I'm pretty sure I'm fucked. I did reinstate the insurance but the card shows coverage beginning on 3/19 and I got pulled over on the 17th. Ohio law dictates a minimum 90 day suspension of license for first time offenders. Once that term is served then I have to file for SR-22 "High Risk" Insurance as well as a $125 reinstatement fee. I also have to get the bike reregisted as well. The insurance is required for 3 years minimum. Apparently this affects all my vehicles so i wont be able to drive me jeep either. My friends are telling me to plead not guilty next week at court and then hire a lawyer. I'm wondering if I should hire one now or what. I dont expect to get away with this, but if I can somehow that would be amazing. Hopefully the cop doesnt show or something. I dont know. I need you advice, past experiences, etc...

Yeah I got called in to work on my night off. On top of that I got a speeding ticket on my way into work. FML!

I'm about 4.5 years in on my 6 yr contract for the Air Force. It definetly has been the most challenging yet rewarding job I've had but like progrmr, I am ready to get out and move on to other things. Take time to consider a 4 vs 6 yr contract. Sure the pay may be more because you chose 6, but say you dont like it after 3 years and still have 3 to go...? Something to consider... Good luck and thanks for serving our wonderful country!

So yeah...I got called into work last minute because one of our guys got short-tasked for a deployment to Afghanistan. I got to take his shift for the evening. I will be out riding tomorrow until the weather turns sour though.
