  1. This. I generally don't eat when I'm out riding, and needed to get back home. Timing it to miss the rain was an unexpected bonus.

I was a little concerned at the beginning about the logistics of it all, but honestly I wound up having a great time. One of my favorite things about the FZ1 is that I can have fun going fast or (more typically) slower.

For such a large group I think you managed pretty damn well, Doc, and I think with a little fine tuning the next one will be really fantastic.

What hail said, I'm not a fan of the long stops just because of the time it takes to get to the roads I am riding and back I want to spend it riding, on this ride though I figured it wasnt that type of ride anyway and for me it went better then expected as well. I enjoyed it and had a good time and would do it again.

  2. Tony is correct and Dave was my first track coach. This was Tony's ride so he didn't have the chance to see anyone else ride to offer help because he was leading. I was just playing around out back looking to see if anyone needed help. Mike53ali looked like he could use some help to make things easier for him by letting the bike do some of the work for him along with making him safer. I followed link for a while and it didn't appear he needed help so I got behind Rob and lead him for a while. The three guys up front didn't need any help from me because they were really moving out. Not that Rob wasn’t but he just didn’t seem relaxed doing it.

I wasnt but after talking to you I really made a point to get off that bike and felt great the last couple hours and it made a huge difference. I did those track days on a different bike plus not having been on mine for over a month it took a while but I really felt great by the end of the day thanks again

  3. Great route Tony, I can't believe I haven't been on some of those roads before especially since I have been all around them. I should explore more when I get out on my own.

It took me 4-1/2 hours to get home from the first stop I made at the intersection of 70 & 77. I just couldn't bring myself to get back on the bike after I made a stop. If my girlfriend could hook up the trailer and find all of my trailer restraints I would have had her come get me. A Percocet last night & some Aleve this morning are helping me to cope with the discomfort.

I was pulling up to the intersection of 83 & 93 to take another break on the ride home and Jinx was there with another guy out going for an afternoon ride. They hung out with me for a while and decided to escort me home after seeing how much distress I was in.

I know what’s going on, it's just that I have two conflicting issues battling each other and have been trying to regulate them without my doctor’s help. Time for that to stop, it sucks getting old.

Get to the doctor Tod. Get healthy again your not old at all you just need to take care of a few things, I was glad to see you out you always are willing to help someone, by the end of the day I was getting off the bike more and found my grove it had been a while since I have been out. Taking what I learned from the track days and doing those things on my bike took a while. With a few pointers from you I really felt comfortable and got my body position right getting my elbow into the apex and getting off the bike thanks hope to see you out more..

  4. I got home about 6pm great ride, glad to hear your okay triple the main thing is you walked away, also it was nice meeting a few people i havnt met. Roads were in great condition 26 was a blast as always, it was the first time I rode 556 awesome rode and 800 with the fresh pavement killer lots of miles and lots of fun!

  5. I would love to do it but unless I can pick a fight with the girlfriend to piss her off enough that she wants me gone for the day between now and time to leave in the morning I doubt it, especially since she is already in bed. She wants me gone from the house on Saturdays so riding isn't a problem but we have plans for tomorrow that I don't have a problem breaking but she does. Have fun & be safe guys.

Route looks good and I haven't been on 377 or that part of 550, would like to try it sometime because it looks good by the map.

aight then if something changes we will be at the spot in the morning
