  1. good catch, finger slipped should have read 500lb
  2. Won't argue it - just went with what galfer said would best match the friction rating of the rotors for best life/performance
  3. Sounds to me like someone thought they were "patching up" without permission. I know some folks locally that have had similar problems - just not the same consequences (luckily)
  4. the weather's supposed to be awesome this afternoon so i'll be there with some guys from a couple local clubs
  5. welcome rider! way to use you head! tons of nice folks on here that i'm sure can keep you out of trouble (or get into a kinder gentler version if that's what you're looking for)
  6. galfer rotors with HH pads. Riding a 600lb sportbike it was definately the most noticable improvement - roughly $700 bucks for the rotors and pads, and as difficult to put on as pulling the front wheel off. love my pazzo shorties too - stock levers are too damn long
  7. congrats again guys (and gals). way to represent for us cinci folks
  8. Indeed - glad to see you make it out okay (all things considered) and glad to hear you're ready to get back on that horse
  9. you're right - that's the one i want!
  10. tsk tsk doug - you're so reckless, lol

  16. AGATT - i don't care if it's 120 degrees out, i'll be wrapped in leather
  17. i have a set of nelson rigg saddle bags on my busa (see avatar) that are built specifcally for sport bikes. They are a little on the small side compared to some of the other saddle bags, but they hold enough stuff to keep me happy and don't get burnt up by my pipes. the tail bag i have is hideous and knowing what i know now would not be my first choice.
  18. i' m like the newbiest of newbs on here and i use that thing almost everyday
  19. glad to see this guy get (a little of) what he deserves. i've been seriously considering lo jack for the bike - i think this just helped me make my decision
