  1. I can vouch for the Vertigo. Impeccable workmanship, incredible feel, nice and quiet. Same Euro sizing. Go to Motorcycle Superstore and read the tons of reviews.

    :plus1:

Couldn't have said it better! I have had my vertigos since March and Zero complaints!

Comfortable, light, great protection, good venting, cool style, and fits true to size!

I also have two used (~90k on them) TD04-9b turbos that function perfectly fine. One of the turbos spray oil because of miles but other is perfectly fine! I replaced both in my 3000gt and they have been sitting ever since. They both can be yours for say $100 OBO?

My contact information is in that link above

  3. Wondering who all is going to up this weekend? I'm praying to god the weather holds out for a nice weekend! But I'm still trying to decide if I want to go Saturday or Sunday! Decisions decisions...

Anybody have an idea if there will be any vendors there and which ones?

  4. Likwid - I'm pretty sure there is more then one fellow in Ohio with a Vulcan... But about a month back i had a smoke and coke with a fellow at a gas station riding the same kind of bike. You wouldn't happen to be him would you?? I was on 'my 07 green zx-6r..

I couldn't tell you where the gas station was because I was just cruising lol. But he did point out how to get to the highway.

  5. Where do you guys live!? In rush hour I'm lucky to get out of 1st gear, let alone go 90mph!
Since when do people in Ohio drive faster than 70mph?

    :plus1:

I drive 75 on my way to work every night on 275N to 71N and I always pass people like they are standing still! Luckily I work 12-8am so I miss the mess that is 275 and 71 in the mornings and way home.

I get sooo pissed at the people who are doing <65 in the fast lane. I'm considering making signs like "You're in the wrong lane" or "Stop clipping coupons and drive" ... put them in my window when i feel its necessary. I actually thought some sort of digital display on the back of the car might be more fun though. Get a program to type in what I say then display it... that would make me happy.

I have ALWAYS wanted to do that! But right now all I have is the bird so it spreads the word as I pass by going the SPEED LIMIT!

    :bigfinger:

Oddly enough I was watching the news a few days ago... Cincinnati is one of the top cities for road rage :)

  6. I drove to work a couple times last month. But people are flipping Idiots here in mason when it comes quitting time (and any other time for that matter).. That and I'm usually pretty drained in the morning when my shift ends.

I'm not really a fan of riding to work because its all highway for me.. 32.. 275.. 71.. So she stays at home.

  7. squidy - that sounds awesome that may be the route i choose. was it 40 bucks 20 years ago, or was that price pretty recent? sorry, sometimes people post prices but it was when they bought it way back when and now it has inflated...

I bought my setup about 4 or 5 months ago from harbor freight. No complaints so far just remember when you finish with your gun/airbrush to clean it. I usually spray some paint thinner through it for about 5min or so just to make sure its good and clean.

  8. If your looking into learn I would head up to harbor freight and pick up a regulator and spray kit of your choice. I was able to pick up my whole setup for less then $40.00 assuming you already have a compressor.

Best way to learn is just do it my friend. Just be prepared to do lots of sanding!

  9. Hm, my most interesting jackass cager story happened about two weeks after I started riding...

I was riding west on 125 through Bethel when I noticed a chick in an F-250 with a trailer full of livestock feed stop at the end of the stores driveway. Soon as I got about three car lengths from her she decides a good idea to go ahead and pull out without even looking!! By the time she lifts her head up from what ever she was looking at in her lap the truck was already 3/4 in my lane and she slams on her breaks..

Seeing the error in her actions, she then proceeds to throw the truck in reverse and attempt to get out of the road as quickly as possible. She then PLOWS the trailer into a pretty new looking cadillac right behind her

The speed limit was only 25mph or something like that so I had plenty of time to slow, evade, and pull over and laugh.

    Good Times
