  1. I'm not posting it anywhere but here. I can deal with a bank if someone gets a loan. No big deal, I was an F&I Manager for 2 motorsports shops at one point. Just hard to trust checks, of course I'd check with the bank and secure the funds before anyone left with the bike or title ;-)

The post is here, if it sparks an interest great, if not, I save gas money to and from work this summer.

@Bad324, I'll watch the thread and let you know if I'm going to let it go. Thanks

  3. price?

PM an offer. That's why I posted KBB wholesale and retail. Obviously, if want to settle for wholesale, I'll just take it to a dealer and not worry about title work or bad checks.

I should have clarified this in the post that this a feeler to see if there's any interest. If wholesale is the best I can do on it, I'll probably just hang on to it.

    Sorry for any confusion.

  4. Looks like I may cut her loose. Please keep in mind, I'm not home from Iraq yet, so I can't move on this for another 40ish days.

    I have a 2008 (bought new 2009) ZX6R

    Color: Candy Plasma Blue

    Miles: 3,000

    Condition: Showroom perfect

    Down: NEVER

Mods: Two Brothers Carbon Fiber slip on exhaust, undertail, Puig windscreen

I wash and wax my bikes about every time they go out and they're always garaged. This bike unfortunately has not been out as much as I would have liked.

KBB lists whole sale about 4200.00 and retail about 6000.00

Let me know if you're interested, but you have plenty of time to consider it as it won't come out of storage until I return.

  5. Nice toys. Dont know anything about the chopper, but it looks like a copy of the Honda.

yeah, it's Yamaha's answer to the custom chopper trends, but about 2k cheaper and a bit more attractive in my taste. Yamaha has the Raider too that I love, but it's air cooled, so a complete turnoff for me.

  6. Only a few months left in Iraq and making plans for the 2011 season.

I spent ridiculous money leading up to the deployment and now I'm considering another change. In a perfect world I'd have the sport bike and cruiser, but I'm realistic and know that's not going to happen for several years.

Here's some pics of the current rides, and the last my consideration for change.

    Have at it...

2 for 1 at the car wash

    Considered 24" Rims

The 2011 Yamaha Stryker. I'm contemplating this taking the place of the ZX6R. Anybody heard anything about it?

  7. is there more than one? i went there last summer and theyre on morse road...not by IP, closer to like where Arena used to be

they did a great job though!! and good price

Quality moved, they're on Westerville Rd just North of Morse. It's a tiny little strip with a used rim place next to it.

Quality is the place to go.

  8. yeah, It's slowed down. IED's are the big issue. My convoy got hit about a month ago, but thankfully nobody was hurt. I'm a Public Affairs asset, so I go out with multiple units. That's where I have the luck of being able to get out. I was down in Salmon Pak not long ago with some units along the Tigris.

We get mortared on a regular basis, but the majority don't make it over the wall. It will be interesting after September. The big focus now is the drawdown.

I'll get some more pics up when I get to a commercial network. I'll see you in the states in about 48 hours.

  9. I dont think I could prepare myself for Iraq anymore since there isn't shit going on there anymore, I couldent sit on a fob for a year and stare at the wall of a tent, good luck with that.

Depends on your mission. My team is out quite a bit. Now after September, who knows. It's much different now than it was for those that were here a few years ago. Sooooo I understand where you're coming from.
