  1. The pics below I just took with my cell phone, so they're not the greatest. I love this helmet, but I'm changing color schemes so I'm letting it go. It is in PERFECT condition

    Shoei Helmet

    Size M 71/8 - 71/4

    DOT and SNELL Approved

Cheek pads are removable, interior is washable.

  2. have you tried this forum? I use to go here all the time when i had a kawasaki and it was a good resource

    http://www.kawiforums.com/

you could probably download the manual as a pdf and figure out that way

sorry i rock a r6 so I don't know anything about LED flushmounts for your bike, but "greggs" is one of the most common LED manufacturers for flushmounts so they might have something or check out "lockhart" i have those on my r6, just plug and play with factory wiring.

sweet ass bike , love the color

I had Greggs on my ZX9, loved them! Thanks for the forum link.

  3. Regarding "Flush" mounts. Your stock signals are nearly as flush as after market. Why bother?

not a huge deal. I thought I saw an aftermarket set that followed the body line a little better. Not a major issue at all. I just can't seem to find any details on the sets that are out there. I don't want to waist money on a set that are smoked, but the same visual profile of the stock ones. I agree it would be pointless.

  4. I have a couple questions about the 2008 ZX6R.

The first one is dumb, but it's driving me nuts!

    1. Bought it new, but still don't have an owners manual. How do you set the clock?

    2. Flush Mount turn signals. Do they exist? I've seen after market Euro style, but do they have a smaller profile then the stock signals. Has anybody seen a nice LED style?

    Thanks

  5. He went the WRONG WAY down an on ramp and a highway. Seriously, how the fuck can you endorse those actions.

    :plus1:

I know people that have ran, and yes they got away. Laws of averages will catch up. As they will admit, it didnt work every time. If you ran in an area that you frequently ride through, they WILL be watching for you. Your description and any partial tag number they got will be marked down and shared at roll calls or among officers in that precinct.

Even the people I know were eventually caught or were constantly getting stopped and questioned. What's the point??? You did the crime, take the punishment like a man.

Now...with that said. If a SQUID wants to turn themselves into a greesy spot on the road where nobody else is around...so be it. I don't and won't care. The minute you get on a public road and endanger my kids lives or mine. You deserve whats coming to you.

  6. so I'm sitting here LMAO at this thread, but noticed some Kawi hating. So I ask this question....

    I've owned a ZX9, CBR 1000, and this year bought a left over 08 ZX6R.

On paper I know it's under powered next to the others, but I've had great luck with it and seems to handle similiar to the 2003 R1 that I fell in love with a couple years back.

I scaled back down to a 600 because the power of a 1000 is almost pointless on city streets and that is where I ride 99.9% of the time.

What did I miss that gave Kawi a bad name?

  7. I'll be leaving about 6:30 ~6:40 from my place to head on over. I usually ride back roads to get to 23 (less traffic) then zip up 23 to 750 and over to Polaris.

    AVOID 750 out of Powell!!!!

What a mess any day even close to rush hour!!

Also 161 near Linworth, same story.

I could meet you at the Shell on Sawmill just south of 270 if you wanted to go that way.

Thanks, By the time I get out of work, get home and change, I'll be pushing it. I'll catch you at CC though.

  8. I'm right down the street from you. Sawmill and Snouffer just south of 270. What did you have in mind?

Nothing really paticular in mind, I just remember a handfull of people at one time looking for others from this area to ride over with.

  9. Northwest is the best. :)

Seriously, there are neighborhoods around Sawmill(I live in one) that have Columbus taxes, Worthington or Dublin Schools, and get all the perks that Dublin and Worthington have(snow plowing, police, etc). These suburbs are very unlikely to let the area decay as well, and are pretty safe.

Pretty easy drive to downtown and tons of shopping nearby.

If you are looking to buy a house, there are a few for sale in my neighborhood for good prices., PM me if you want more info. My neighborhood is awesome, everyone is cool, we have block parties and stuff, and hang out all the time.

If you are renting, there are tons of nice apartments around Sawmill that are fairly inexpensive as well.

Also, quite a few very nice nursing homes within 10-15 minutes of Sawmill. Riverside Hospital and the new Dublin hospital(it's fancy) are 10-15 minute drives, as well as OSU Medical Center.

:plus1: Couldn't agree more. But I'm bias since I work and live in this end of town :)
