  1. I like to layout. It seems to load a bit faster and it looks "SLIMMER". The new features allow for new info and better tracking of friends and members. I am also in favor with the way your postings are formatted and display to the right of the avatar. Makes for cleaner reading and easier to follow. Looks and feels great. Xfader
  2. It has been great to see the pavement and having the bike out for a couple of hours getting it ready... Welcome "aboard". Get ready for the ride of your life with these guys... Xfader
  3. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. May you all continue to be blessed. Our condolences. Xfader
  4. Sorry about not getting this till today... I had a ton of things going on and just got a chance to check the site. I did not make out on Sunday because I had to cover the Poker Run for Marty Martin.

I am trying to clear out my schedule for the rest of the week. I need on more ride before I start preps for the winter. I hope that I can hold on till at least the end of October.

Take care and I will chat with you soon,

  5. Man, I am so glad to hear that you are okay. I did the same thing ealier this summer at Morse and Hamilton Roads. Good to know that you are a strong believer in GEAR. That's the only way to ride. I am still healing from road rash. Keep your head up and remember... "chicks dig scars...!"
  6. OMG! Great job just staying focused. Trust me, I have seen many crashes at Mid-Ohio and you did a great job. Good luck with the repairs and keep up the confidence.
  7. Hey Likwid, I am sorry for the delay in my response, but I have been trying to get my plastics and exhaust repairs done so I can get back on the road. As for the straightening... I am still trying to find the time to make an appointment, it has been a very long summer already. When I get things squared away, I will give you a call for the shake down ride. Thanks for your help. So far, the responses that I have received are telling me that it is worth trying to see if the straightening will work. If and when it does, I will be happy. This has been a nice little summer project that I hope to soon have done. Talk to you soon, Xfader
  8. Thank you for the input. I keep finding incomplete F2 plastics with rash and cracks. F3 plastic pairs and sets are everywhere. I will keep my eyes open for a good set. Thanks again for your help, Xfader
  9. Does anyone know if Fairings for a 95 Honda CBR 600 F3 will fit on a 93 Honda CBR 600 F2? I have done some reading and talked to a few people and there are mixed feelings. So I am asking you guys. Has anyone heard anything or know if this should work? I am having a hard time finding F2 Fairings (plastics), but there are a ton of F3 plastics out there. HELP!? Thanks, Xfader
  10. I want to thank you all for your input. I always heard that you guys were good, but this is unbelievable. You guys (and gals) are great. I am glad to be a part of the group. Wish me luck and I will let you know how it turns out. Peace Out
  11. Yotaman, thank you very much. I will be giving them a try!
  12. I love the way you think... I did just get a new tool kit for my birthday. LOL!
  13. I did find a company up near Cleveland that can do it. I am going to make a call next week. The company is MPHOhio http://mphohio.com/megamax.htm
  14. I don't have a ton of money in this bike so I can afford to put a little into it. This bike has more of a sentimental value to me, so I can afford to put some love into it. Plus the wife will not let me get a new yet! She is giving me a hard time for laying it down.
  15. Sorry to hear about the job... I cannot image being back out pounding the pavement again. I will keep eyes and ears open. Good Luck
  16. I just found out that the frame on my 93 CBR600 is bent. I have talked to a couple of people who suggested that if the frame is not too far out of spec, then it is a good idea. Others said that it is not worth it and I should just replace the frame completely. What do you think? I really don't want to spend a ton of money to get this bike repaired, so the straightening works for me. I have conducted some research and found positive results, but I am still wondering. Please help and share your thoughts. Thanks, Xfader
  17. Sorry I missed your call last night, I was sleep. I work 1st shift and was in the bed. I will give you a call today (Saturday 6/27) when I get a break. Thanks for your patiences. I will chat with you this afternoon.

  18. Thanks Princess for not kicking me while I am down... (I think). I will be back up and riding again once I figure out which bike I want to get. See you out on the road soon... Rubber side down of course. Xfader
  19. From now on, all I am wearing is leather no matter what... I don't want to ever go through this again. Thanks for the Nemo still, I am in tears (tears of joy) of course. Be safe out there, Xfader
  20. Thanks for the love people, I am truly blessed and lucky... and yeah, we were just talking about our gear Friday night Cypress. I was telling my friends that I was thinking about getting rid of the textile jacket for my all leather one this week. I was one day too late it seems. I now believe that all weeks start on a Sunday and not on Monday like my boss keeps trying to tell me. I will try to make it out to a couple of gatherings possibly next week. I have class to prep for as well as letting the "burn" heal. See you soon...
  21. Thank you all for your show of support. I told my wife that you guys were cool... now she can really see it for herself. I am feeling much better and the arm is coming along nicely. Can't wait to be back in the saddle again. Xfader
  22. I am now officially part of the Man Down Club. This past weekend I was riding my CBR600 on Morse Rd making a right turn onto Hamilton Rd when my rear tire loss traction and ran me wide into the median. The bike took the brunt of the damage on its lower left side and I of course went head over hills into on coming traffic. Thank God there were no cars coming... When I finished my "swan dive" there were people all around me within seconds offering their assistance. One guy was even an off-duty police officer who saw my spill. They all were very helpful and kind helping me to relax and stay still until medics arrived. Now I am bruised a bit with a "small" 3 inch Road Rash Scar on my left arm. (New User Name will now be "Nemo"). I was wearing my helmet and thank God for that. When I hit the median, I hit head first. The medic said that based on the impact, I would have fractured my skull! As I have posted before, I will never ride without my helmet. I never have and never will. The only reason I have the road rash is because it was such a nice day and I was only going down the street and coming right back, I wore my lighter textile jacket. Now to its credit, it saved my back and arms, but I got caught on the only part that was not covered by padding. So what have I learned about this incident... there is no such thing as just going out for a quick spin. Always wear your most protective gear at all times. Now I know that pain heals and chicks dig scars, and being part of this club is cool, but I love my skin way more so I will always wear leather. I had to learn the hard way. Thanks for listening and see you out soon. The bike is in the shop getting an estimate, but I am thinking about getting a new ride all together... maybe that new Yamaha FZ6R. Be safe out there. Xfader ... no I mean Nemo...
  23. Currnetly I am a digital journalist, photojournalist, videographer, college instructor and constant resume updater. Who said working in T.V was boring... or a wise career choice? Anybody need any pictures take? LOL
  24. For those of you who might not have known, the Gahanna Creekside Blues and Jazz Fest was awsome. We had a great time after we left you guys. I think that it runs 11AM to 11PM tonight (SAT). Great music and a ton of food.
  25. It was great to see all those who made it last night. The weather was perfect, the food was hot and the company was great., Nice to put faces and names together. The young lady on the V-Rod stole the show and left a lot of broken hearts... mostly for the bike. See you guys next week
