Don't get me wrong, I love my ZX10R, but I hate that part of maintance on the bike.

I am tired of getting into a project and getting a damn bolt that wont budge. It eventually rounds out you can't move on any further. Is this a Kawi thing or do all the brands do this? I was preping my bike for the new exhaust which is due to arrive tomorow. I was tearing the bike down and got to the last part to get the exhuast off when low and behold, stuck bolt.

If you want to have a debate, fine. But that isn't the way to open the door. You have no idea how I use my bike. Look at my tires, they are sport touring tires jack ass. I ride my ride. HGN or Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus is acurate to determine level of intoxicatication. If the officer did see Nystagmus, then chances are, he did see a level of alcohol influence in your eyes. Your room mate would have to have extensive training in checking HGN in order to see and check for HGN. It is not just a matter of waving a pen (or stylus) in front of someone's eyes to see the involuntary bouncing in their eyes. He, the officer, apparently did not see enough to think that you were over the legal limit.

From the persepctive of a police officer here, there are officers that do not know m/c laws. I do and I also stop bikes if I need to. I have had bikes run from me and it is stupid. This B/S of some bikers to say that they will not stop for a cop is just, that B/S. Run and kill not only run the risk of killing yourself, but the officer and innocent motorists. I generally do not write tickets to anyone unless you really deserve it. 15+ over, no-ops, ovi, or you have a warrant or another reason you need to go to jail.

Well, Ironically enough, I had a GSXR 1000 run from me yesterday, I know his first name, which I will not reveal. But he got dangerous and blasted traffic and a red light at a dangerous intersection, so I did not pursue. Not going to risk my life, innocents life or his life for a traffic stop. Usually I don't like to write traffic tickets. If I stop a bike, I talk shop with em while I am getting things figured out and then off they go. But you are right, most bikes will skunk the Vics and Chargers. Just not the Motorolas.
