I just said i am fighting it. who wants 4 points on their license when they can try to fight and get it off their record so their insurance doesn't go higher than it already is. Maybe i am not an idiot. there were no pedestrians, no traffic, it was a low speed 30ft - 40ft wheelie. I never left first gear. The first license suspension was retarded. It was 5 miles to the nearest town and that town has 1000 people in it. that is how remote the area was. and it was on a ancient 250. was not speeding at all. just happened to pass some douche having a bad day. I ride the rodes all the time on my dirtbike and my neighbor is a sherif, he didn't care one bit. I was taking a friendly stroll, enjoying a nice day.
  6. i could float on her boats! shit!
  7. i've added "a woman with 365 days in her" to my christmas list.
  8. only live a few minutes away from loudonville, and could show you all some nice roads. I should be there.
  9. i was looking at the dual compound. sounds like a good concept for optimum wear and grip
  10. i just bought another dunlop qualifier for $124 shipped. I really like the tire. I was just a little harder on it than i should have been. I guess that is what happens when you first get the bike, and realize that if you do clutch up wheelies every time you go out it will burn the tire right off. Thanks for all the advice though....i may try a shinko out one of these days. It just seems that the shinko line is the opening price point for the tire market, so was a little weary.
  11. i am fighting a wreckless op right now. its my 19th traffic violation in 13 years. 17 of them being tickets, 1 of them being on a old suzuki TS 250 on a back country road with no license or insurance and they took my license. just got my license back in january and now this. its gonna cost me $800 in lawyer fees but it will be reduced so i get no points on my license. The Wreckless op came one month after i got this bike (which is my first bike) and my permit. I pulled a wheelie at a traffic light and boom...sheriff close by. oops! its in my blood i can't help it. my worst year was about 4 years ago when i got 4 tickets in about 8 months. each of the tickets were 82 in a 50, 77 in a 55, 87 in a 65, and a 53 in a 35. no i don't learn
  12. just got to keep searching
  13. here is one for $145. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Michelin-Pilot-Power-Motorcycle-Tire-180-55-17-Rear-New_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1205Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a0Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem110379286874QQitemZ110379286874QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  14. there are shinko rear tires on ebay for about $100 but was a little weary. 1. for being that much cheaper, it made me wonder. 2. i had never heard of the brand. i think i can get a new michy power rear for about $130-$140 as well, so it might be worth the xtra $20 to go with michy
  15. I am new to the street so i do not know what brands of tires hold up well. I just went through a dunlop qualifier in 2500 miles. It is blistering right down the middle. The tire gripped really well, but didn't last long at all. Any suggestions on brands of tire to use. whats your thoughts on shinko, full bore, michelin, dunlop, pirelli? I will be doing some hard cornering as well as some long rides.
