  1. Thank you!!!... I hate that shit!
  2. Thx! I was thinkin of getting the forks shortened internally then it'll be back where it should be in the clamps. Well.. sorta.
  3. Tranny issues with those motors are typical, usually comes from banging 1 to 2 gear shifts repeatedly. Id check the detent spring first, then shift forks and last the gear dogs themselves, if there are big chncks of metal on your oil plug or in the pan its a good bet the tranny is toast. Could be in a false neutral... make sure the thing is actually shifting into 1st or 2nd gear position. No neutral light should be showing. Could need a new clutch but it would slip through all gears not just 1 and 2. Now worse case you'd have to pull the motor, split the cases and swap out the tranny itself. Not something a novice should try Id say. But if you're brave go for it. If it's hosed and you want to sell the rolling chasis let me know, I may be interested. PM me...
  4. Brocks Pipe, PC3USB, -1+1, lowered, Brocks clutch mod, Stock motor.
  5. Will you be scheduling any more of these tune sessions in the near future?

  6. Yea, always use OEM.. I'm betting on Mobil 1 changing their formula is the culprit in my case. Just trying to get a feel for what folks have had success with drag racing. My motor is stock so a thinner oil should be ok. Reading through Brock Davidson's fourm the recommendation is Alysin 0W for stock motors maybe 20W. Problem for me is it's just easy to get my hands on when I want it and the whole 10 bucks a quart thing. As much as I flush oil that's gonna be a difficult pill to swallow. Thanks for all the input...
  7. This synthetic stuff? I've made probably 200+ passes on mine in the last two seasons with 5w30 Mobil 1 car oil with no issues, this is the first issue I've had with the clutch. I swaped the clutch out at the begining of the season just for GP. Have never warped several discs in one shot or notice the push pin issue until first race of this season.
  8. Used to use Mobil 1 5w30 in my 06 1K. Ran it for the last couple of years and had good result until this last oil change. Supposedly they changed their formula. Welded the push pins together inside the trans shaft and in the process torched my new clutch pak. Looking for a comperable oil that is reasonably priced and accessable. Any suggestions?

  10. If it's Cedar Point you gotta ride Top Thrill Dragster... It's freakin awesome!
  11. Add 400 CCs and it'll have more throttle response.
