  1. WTF! I kind of agree with this statement... KillJoy
  2. Haters. The Peanut Tank is the only think I don't care for. It looks cool, but just does NOT hold enough fuel. Hell, my 3.5 Gallon Tank will need refilled in ~150 Miles. I am thinking of getting the lower Speedo Mount and seeing what would need to be done to put the Fat Tire on the Nighty. KillJoy
  3. It sold for $17k? KillJoy PS -
  4. That thing looks SWEEET! Me want 2 plzkthxby! KillJoy
  5. Any help in a panic situation would be a benefit. I would not rely on it though... KillJoy
  6. So... did you actually NOT get THIS? KillJoy
  7. I am wondering: Why the fuck do you care what ANYONE else thinks??? Do what YOU want... KillJoy
  8. That is my thought and hope. Spend the $$$ ONCE, not every 1 or 2 years like she currently is. $600 - $800 every 2 years is a LOT for a new PC to "stay fast". KillJoy
  9. Like I said... she has $1500 to spend, and WANTS to spend it. That HP spec'd out at $1450-ish. It does NOT include an extended warranty. I am telling her that if she gets it, to include a 3 yr, next day, onsite warranty. That will add a couple of hundred. She is wanting something that she could possibly use for the next 5-7 years and not have to change a thing on. That justifys her Budget. Also, she is NOT local. She is in FL. KillJoy

Derek.... you are NOT in sales.... KillJoy

  12. This is what I was thinking. What is the difference between the OS'? KillJoy
  13. I understand where to get one.... I can also see that the OP did not have more info. I guess I should have added the following: What OS to get? What CPU to get? How much RAM to get? I want this thing to be as fast as possible within the funding allowed... KillJoy
  14. A friend is wanting to get a PC. I have the following that she wants: Must be able to: Watch TV (ie - tv card) Monitor security camera (internet) Play games (ie - Yahoo Games) Email (Outlook) Word Excell She wants something that will do the above at the same time, and not be "slow". This IS for work, but is obviously not a "business" pc. I have a budget of ~ $1500, and she would prefer it to come from Tiger Direct. Thanks! KillJoy

  17. I contemplated this. There are LOTS of different types of employment that use CAD. I believe ITT has a course for this as well... KillJoy

    WTB..Zip drives

ZIP Disks are either 100MB or 250MB. Thumb Drives are VERY cheap. Kingston has 2GB Thumb Drives for as low as $10! That 2GB Thumb Drive would hold 8-20 ZIP Disks! If you would be using 1 ZIP Disk per week, you could use 1 Thumb Drive per week, and still have PLENTY of room left on the Drive. KillJoy
