I had a CTS-V for 5 months, the car just seemed sluggish and heavy. I want something big don't get me wrong but have the power to back it up. Plus the CTS-V was an M6 and I think I am done trying to DD a manual.

If this is what you eventually intend on doing, buy an 07/08 GSXR1k. Why you ask? It has been proven time and time again to be one of the best platforms for drag racing. Plus you can have Troy make it a monster (i.e. he has built tons and tons of drag bikes, including several that have won big series championships) When Anthony's bike is completed I would seriously suggest checking his out and seeing the level of detail put into it and even Anthony will tell you he doesn't have a ton in it at all and it will be a sub 8 bike. Don't buy a CBR they explode in drag racing. There is a reason people don't use them for that. I have seen some fast R1's and some fast ZX10's but you can't beat the amount/availability of parts for the GSXR. Hope this helps and makes the decision process easier.
