  1. My folks had an 08, was terrible in the winters and through every CEL it possibly could. It was primarily my moms and she didn't drive it hard by any means. Went back to the dealer about 10x. I know that made some improvements in the later years, I'd steer away from the 08's.

  3. While you are entitled to your view, I must ask what sold you? Because this committee of politicians found another politician innocent that must mean it's true right? I won't let this ignorance fire me up, because having worked for the same companies doing the same job I know the inherent risks. We all do. What we didn't expect was for our Countries 'political leaders' to leave us to die and do nothing. Because that was what was done. Nothing. Justify that however the you want with all your expertise. But when you want to man up and stop hiding behind the computer, I'll buy your ticket on over and we will see how you feel about it.
  4. I got it finally, good flick imo
  5. Badass makes me want to buy something just for you to PC it lol
  6. I really like the idea of other dealership stickers
  7. Maybe get with Easton Town Center and see if they will give you a portion of the parking area roped off for a cruise/show/meet? I always loved cruising through there.
  8. I am looking forward to moving back to Ohio for all the fun

    What to do...

I looked at doing the full ADM swap to include the LSA blower etc. After owning a Kenny Bell car I really don't want to own a roots style blower car again. Great for about one hit on the dyno then so heat soaked it's like driving N/A anyway. I have been watching a couple guys setups on Camaro5 for a bit now, and the two I like the best are the ECS1500 and Procharger F1x kits. ECS kit with the basic NOVI blower can be had for around $5k and the entire PC kit will run me in the $7k's. Nice thing about the ECS kit is if the NOVI 1500 becomes to little it's a couple brackets and upgrade to the YSI which is capable of far more. Anyone on Camaro5 should know Bo White, and I would presumably do a setup like his. Bolt-ons, cam, blower = 95k miles no issues.

    What to do...

The feel I am looking for is torque. And I don't want to have to dump thousands to over compensate to make torque just to make a lardass of a car move. The suspension is fantastic and definitely setup for what it's designed for, tracks. I think I went the wrong route by going with a 1LE over a ZL1 in the beginning, specifically for what I was looking for in terms of feel. Who knows though, it may make more sense in the long run just to throw a F1X kit on my car and just call it a day. Hard to beat the looks and sound of these cars with a big cam.

    What to do...

Helluva thread, thank you all for the info and points! Haha Jordan I knew you were going to throw a GTR at me since I have asked you about a half a dozen times to find me one! I still don't know how I feel about the front but I am sure an aftermarket grill will come out or a nice fat heat exchanger could fix it http://autoguide.com.vsassets.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/2017-chevrolet-camaro-zl1-live-photos-3-23-2016/2017-Chevrolet-Camaro-ZL1-Grille-02.jpg http://autoguide.com.vsassets.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/2017-chevrolet-camaro-zl1-live-photos-3-23-2016/2017-Chevrolet-Camaro-ZL1-Front-08.jpg

I <3 you haha that would be sweet but I don't think that rings any practicality bells for me

    What to do...

Exactly, if I were to even consider a GTR it'd have to be a 12+ and then I am back in the high 60's again. I really think the new ZL1 could be refreshing, 400+ lbs lighter, sportier*, and about 640bhp with a warranty doesn't sound bad. I just hope they release it in white or maybe something like the LMB from the 06Z
  16. Could it be that you may actually be buying things for your unicorn, one does not believe it is so.

    What to do...

Buying brand new in the 60's is different than buying used in the 60's.

    What to do...

Thanks Kirk, I think I will wait it out and see what these new ZL1's do, those 10 speed auto's would be pretty sweet for some long drives. I'd say a close second right now is the V based off wanting my little man to experience the car with me.

    What to do...

I looked at the ATS-V's but as stated they are more than I would want to spend right now. For that money I'd buy a used 12+ GTR lol and solve all my problems.

    What to do...

I debated waiting for the new ZL1 to appear. If I were to go with the V would you guys go with the A6 or the M6 and why?

    What to do...

I have another car so I really don't have problems with transporting him, I just want him to enjoy the car too. He already makes the car sounds when he's riding in the back of my 1LE lol. And I can't take him in the vette because he's only a 1.5 year old and still needs a car seat lol.
  22. I currently have a 14' 1LE, car is fun has bolt ons, and if I keep it I plan on going H/C with it. Thing is, it is heavy. I don't want to sink money in to something that just won't ever fit the feel I am searching for I guess. But I can take my kiddo with me in it. So. Should I trade it in for... CTS-V (Gen 2) Sedan - no to the coupe they look off to me. - pros: cool DD, can take my kiddo with me, mod friendly, can't decide whether I'd get an M6 or A6 - cons: heavy, and a sedan losing the "fun car" feel http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z441/BB2010SRT8/IMG_1256_zpse0963946.png (or) C6z - pros: Light, fun, mod friendly, weekend car or in my case time home fun car, would be sex with H/C and some RT-S's - cons: can't take my kiddo in for a few years http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s155/alglll/IMG_20121006_141710_007.jpg (or) C7 - pros: same as c6z just newer - cons: same as c6z and LT1 and no wide booty (i know this is a Z but she pretty) http://cdn.speednik.com/files/2015/11/2015-11-24_06-33-16.jpg
  23. Yeah that is long gone. You have to love the Geneva Convention.
