Geesh, I fall off the face of the Earth for a few days and I'm missing local ride threads. Granted, I don't see that anything actually happened. Let me know if anyone decides to go for a cruse.

1. I will be married for two years on Monday. 2. I have an 11 month old daughter named Hudson and a soon to be 3 year old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier named Mardy. 3. My wife is due with our second child in January. 4. I recently found out that I am allergic to dogs...Mardy doesn't shed and is considered a to be hypoallergenic dog 5. I was an Intervention Specialist (special education teacher) for four years and have been a school administrator for the past four years. 6. I had negative rep on OR for a long time...apparently I'm a liberal douche. 7. I believe that our rights as individuals end, where an others begins...dammit apparently #5 might be right (back to negative rep I go LOL!) 8. I may quite possibly have the best and most supportive family ever. I would be nothing without them. 9. I am also a first generation American. My father was born and raise in Wanganui, New Zealand and my mother was born in Burlington, Canada. They met in NZ. My mother was lead in a production of the musical Oklahoma. My dad was on a date that night. Went back the next night and ask my mother out after the show. They were married two weeks later and have been happily married since 1975. 10. My FZ6 was the first and only new vehicle I have ever owned.

If you head down to the assflats let me know. I live really close to that. I've only ever been down there during non-bike season. They have good food.

I don't have a front plate on my truck. I bought it in Michigan, and it didn't have the plate bracket/holder. I've been too lazy and cheap to buy the holder. I got pulled over a few weeks ago and the police officer didn't say anything about it, and yes he saw the front of my truck first then pulled me up for speeding...let me off with a warning. I don't think it makes a difference at all having a front plate. I can't think of a time I, or anyone I know, was pulled over head on where the front plate would/could be read.

It makes me really tired watching that.

If you are looking for something to read pick up Twist of the Wrist II by Keith Code. There is a ton of useful information in there. Dayton library has it.

There are all sorts of deals on fz6's out there. They are great bikes. I haven't had any complaints about riding it two up. The seating position is supremely comfortable as well. I think you said you had wrist/arm pains, probably would be fine.

We take our dog every where we go. I have a truck but he refuses to get in the bed (has a cap). I can't say that I hate when people dump their dos back there, but I wouldn't do it. As for head out the window, his breath would kill us. He loves it to much not to let him, but I don't let him do it if I'm going faster than 45.
