  1. Usually people with a visible, holstered weapon are not "casing the joint" for criminal purposes. Kinda ruins the element of surprise.

While that is a fair assumption, we are all making assumptions on this persons behavior, the clerk, and the officer. Just because something is unlikely in your mind, or mine, does not mean it is unlikely in the mind of the clerk or the officer.

How long was this person in the store? Was it long enough to make the clerk nervious, or feel that he wasn't just there to buy a drink? Again, without the call it's speculation as to why the officer was requested.

  2. It seems both sides of this are putting the cart in front of the horse. Doesn't this really come down to what was the 911 caller saying? Then did that give the officer enough of a cause to assume a crime was about to happen?

Until the 911 call gets released this is just a game of rhetoric. IMO.

If the person calling and said there is a guy here with a gun and that was it, there doesn't seem to be enough reason for the police to ask the MWAG anything.

If the person calling said there is a man with a gun who has been here twenty minutes and looks like he is casing the joint. That may be enough for the police to assume that a crime was about to happen.

    All are just...

  3. Just out of curiosity, does it matter what the attendant that called in said? I get if they said there was someone in the store open carrying that there is nothing illegal. If the attendant said someone with a gun was "acting suspicious" would that garner "a crime about to happen"?

Anyone have any interest in answering my question? LOL

  5. that dude was in the group i was sweeping. He rode well and had I noticed before we were already on our way, I probably would've been the asshole that didn't let him join our group due to lack of gear

Glad he rode well. He almost got smushed when he left. Took off right infront of a car. The old lady had to slam on the breaks. Thankfully nothing happened.

  6. Do the last clip toward the end of the ride when some of us got a bit frisky on the final road, you have that one? Is where you were right behind me, and I was following that local rider in front of me.

I think I posted that one. The video is really long. I will look at them more when I get home. There should be 4 videos I posted here.

  7. it is a great great bike. it will stave off my blood lust for a multistrada for a good while i think. it's funny cause the guy i bought this from sold this bike cause he had picked up a multi S touring. brief moment of insane jealousy, and then i rode the FZ. no regrets! the maroon beast is a blast to ride!

Congrats on the pickup! Also welcome to the fizzer club, where no matter how ugly you are, you're still better looking than your bike.

  8. TigerPaw was throwing his lil 300 around pretty good in front of me, and dude.....my sincerest apologies for my bike's horny tendencies in attempting to mate with yours....mine just wanted to run up on your bike's ass now and then....Spring time must be Kawasaki's rut or something :D

Don't feel like your the only one though, granda080's bike behind me just about made it a menage troi a few times!

Yeah that was my bad. That would make for one ugly bike. It was crazy how much they just packed up in the corners. I'll post some more videos. It happens in several turns lol

  10. Glad to hear you are ok. Hope you aren't hurting too bad tomorrow.

I'm not a fan of 555. The one time I rode it there was loose stuff everywhere. I was, however, impressed at the 89 t-top camero that flew by us drinking a beer. Clearly a local.
