Looks like next weekend and the one after that are going to be open. After that I'll have lots of time as my contract is over and I'll be un-employed. (Read, back to school) for a month or so. So July looks like the month to ride!

I'm thinking that your a bit far away for my little bike. But we could try to meet somewhere in the middle. Perhaps a scenic ride to a lunch place? Maybe a camping site? Got anybody else from the burgh wishing to brave an Ohio ride? We could make it an event!

There are two basic sizes for motorcycle headlights 5-3/4 inch and 7 inch lenses.

Yours I believe is a 7" bulb. Motorcycle light lenses (the part you see that collects bugs) mount differently than car headlights, they are not interchangeable. Also the lens pattern can be different than stock for a different light pattern on the road. I included both sizes in my search on ebay just in case I was wrong about the size of yours.

As far as wattage of the actual bulbs 55/60 watts is standard. Replacement bulbs are standard and can be bought at any auto parts store for about $7.00. The standard size uses the same amount of electricity so you don't have to do any re-wiring of the bike and the stock plug fits right on it so it's a very simple modification.

I'm going out for a small ride today.

Got in about 100 miles yesterday and feel much better about the world.

Still looking for work. But I have been getting a few calls about jobs, just no interviews yet. Other than that, riding when I can and crying when it rains. Can't wait for the warmer weather! 50 is ok but when it gets down into the 30's at night it kinda limits my ride time to daylight only.

But this is a far cry from last month. When just the effort of shoveling the snow off the bike was so overwhelmingly depressing it made me want to seek help from my local bartender.

We both cried into our beers and toasted the change of the seasons in loud manly voices. He is getting his KTM super moto ready for the season. Finaly a bike slower than mine on the highway! Ought to be an interesting summer!

Just missed you at the IP today. Jager said you were needing a chain tool. Hoblick helped me get my chain squared away. You might want to shoot him a PM to see if he can help you out.

The cold isn't the worst it's the snow and ice. I got to thinking of your new tires on the scooter and wondered if you have been out in the snow with it?

School. All to soon that will be over and I'll be out there looking too.

It doesn't look so great out there in the job market these days.
