I have a RE MX12 that i got through some trading and dont really have any use for it. It has an underhung NEO magnet with a 4" voice coil and Flatwound coil. It has a rms of 1500 watts (which is underrated imo) 22mm of xmax, and should work well in ported or sealed enclosures. Coils are in good shape, surround and spiders are also in good shape. The only thing noticable is that the previous owner lost a screw for the connector and replaced it with a screw. Mechanical 10/10 Cosmetic 9/10
This will out preform W7s, L7s, and such.

^^^^^ Link to what they go for new. $650

i caught 1 episode about halfway through. Seems like a cool show

also know what your total ohm load is will help choose an amplifier.
whether they subs are dual voice coil or single voice coil would change the ohm loads. (4 dvc 4ohms subs=.5 ohms or 2 ohms---4 svc 4ohm subs=1 ohm)

I think using the BMI is waay off. Just think of the people that weight train either for body building or powerlifting. Hell im 5' 8" and 240 Been training for powerlifting for 2 1/2 years. Started out weighing 180. And am not fat at all but according to the car i'm obese. I think if you want to do something like that it should be based off body fat % not BMI.

its cool the basket made it on the list, i lived like 5 minutes from it.

It's only illegal if you get caught...
...and you're not a cop, because if you were a cop, you'd be suspended with pay.

were not in a marine environment lol (but i see what your saying)
if your comparing 450 subs check this out. Its a sound splinter sub that was designed by TC sounds (biiig sub build house in the US) I believe this is their 4hp motor design.

never heard of that mach 5. hows the SQ? what materials are they made of? it looked like foam and paper in the picture. those death penalties are just ridic.
Yea the surround is foam. The paper cones are better for your MMS (rather than a plastic/aluminum/other) and often just as strong.
-
just trying to help you out, and maybe save some money.
but in the end it is your money so buy what you want
-
how is a subs that $210 (mach 5) more expensive than a 450 JL?
