  1. You can keep it at my house and tell Denise I bought it, lol. What's one more toy in the garage? Actually I have plenty room in my shed too. In all seriousness, I would say figure out the value of the clapped out cbr (If there is one...) and split it between however many are on the team. Why should you have to front the bike?
  2. I've definitely been considering it as something to do. A lot of us here on OR run the mini 20. Probably enough of us to make 2-3 endurance teams and we would still have fun running against each other. I ran a sprint for the first time this weekend and liked that too. Would like to run the 600 superbike sprints, and an endurance after.
  3. I hope I didnt hold you guys up in the first 600/1000 superbike sprint. I got passed on the last lap by redkow who I had just passed a few laps before, and I was trying desperately to pass him back. In my fury, I missed my 3-2 downshift before turn 13 and was in 3rd gear coming onto the straight. I know you guys were right behind me for the checkered flag and I think at least 2 of you split me coming out of 13. Oops... Probably woulnd't be a big deal if it weren't on the last lap.
  4. ^This. My GF never wants to come to the track again. First time she's really been there and she witnesses the 2 worst crashes I've seen at the track. She no longer has fingernails due to the fact she nervously chewed them all off.
  5. That sucks, not much you can do about those ribs. The doc didn't find anything wrong with your head? I though for sure they'd find a few screws loose, cobwebs, or somethin?
  6. With what they charge for a Zuma or a Vino scooter, I'm guessing you could pick up one of those for about the same price as a new R6.
  7. Quit reading ORDN and get your eyes back on the road!
  8. Had a great weekend considering the events that took place Sat and Sun. I was on the track when both took place, just barely missing being involved in the second wreck. I was able to get over just enough to miss the stopped bike. Hands up or not, with that many bikes between me and the stopped rider it was nearly impossible to see him until the crowd in front of me split. I hate to see anyone get hurt but its a risk we all take every time we go out there. On a more positive note I had a lot of firsts and personal bests. I ran several mid-low 1:16's on Sat. Ran my first sprint race today but that didnt go as i hoped. I think nerves from witnessing the wreck in the start and the heat had a lot to do with that though. I was only able to cut a few laps in the 1:18's. I was settled down some for the mini 20. I still wasnt up to Saturdays pace but ran a ton better. More consistent lap times and felt much better. Cant wait till next round! Good seeing everyone again.
  9. Maybe one of you gents at the track could run in there and take a look?
  10. So anyone know if there's showers in the women's restroom? My gf wants to come and stay Sat night with me, but she is greatly concerned about showering in the morning, lol.
  11. I don't know if the guy is a hero, but pretty much agree with the rest of this. They could put an end to all his stupid videos by simply....letting him go and not giving chase. Something I figured out when I was like 5. If I didn't let my older brother get under my skin, eventually he'd get bored and quit picking on me.
  12. I was planning on coming out tonight, but I've been out of town all week for work. I got too much crap to catch up on around the house. See you all Sat in the am.
  13. Ya, I'm also not sure an almost guaranteed death/life threatening accident is the right outcome for someone speeding and running. Lots of other better options.
  14. I travel the country for work and I get service just about everywhere I go. What kind of phone do you have? If do you have a smartphone you can hack it and make it go to Verizon towers in the area. Another option is to call sprint and tell them you don't have service. They will give you an airwave that you can hook up to your home internet service and it makes a tower in your house.
  15. It's the best 1050cc, 3 cylinder, street fighter that money can buy. Seriously, you won't find a better one!
  16. Kind of like locks, they only keep honest people out
  17. They aren't bad with a little horsey sauce on them
  18. I'm sure there's already a bill being drafted to ban knives as we speak
  19. Which is a good thing for me. The more people on the network the slower it is.
  20. I know I'm opening a can of worms but...Sprint has unlimited data and have never throttled my service back either.
  21. For Nelson I think it knocks $75 off the track day if you sign up for a race. And Todd doesn't charge for a license for the first race either. You get to use your "provisional" license your first one.
  22. Wish him the best of luck on a speedy recovery. This is definitely a risk we all willingly take. Knowing that a bad wreck could happen and keep me out of work for some time, I always get myself Aflac insurance during riding season and this year I majorly upped my disability stuff at work. Its more out of pocket expenses, but better safe than homeless.
  23. He's leaving us to go to Vegas. Can't say I blame him!
