my degree has nothing to do with what i do today -- but it served a purpose at a young age in my life. it expanded my view or scope on how one views the world... maybe opened up doors or allowed me to actually consider different forks in the road. my degree has kept my resume from being tossed in the trash -- but has never advanced me internally, not a chance. only demonstrating my talents has or will do that.

yeah she does. its one of many things the kids have done over the years to our vehicles of bikes as youngins'... my oldest took a sharpie to the entire interior of my brand new tundra some years ago. that was painfull. more than this! good way to look at the situation! for sure i would be devastated had she got hurt

wow, thank you for so many suggestions, product ideas etc... trust me, i am taking notes. i really want to enjoy riding and for me, its going to mean staying warm. i dont have many pics yet, but i will try to post some soon. its a good lookin bike, no bling or mods ( but i did just order a ride naked sticker !!!!! i can resist ) but now i actually have a bike that doesnt bore me to tears and can still practice cornering on, i will def. want to ride more often. its asphalt black, and i really like it... here is what blows ya'll -- my 6 year old daughter actually tipped it over and now i have scratches and a tiny dent on the tank. argh!!!!!!!!!!! im still trying to stay sane over that incident.

been a while ya'll but i finally landed a new bike perfect for me, a honda 599. had a chance to ride a couple of weeks ago and even though it was like 50ish outside it was great to hop on even if briefly. i just cant take the cold. which leads me to my question. in general i have a really hard time staying comfortable temperature-wise riding, no matter the time of year. what are some tips to keep the "breeze" out when riding?

i know someone who does this and they swear by it that it has changed their lives. me? im not willing to give up my dollar & calorie heavy frappacino. its just not happening. instead i work out a little extra and drink extra water. i can always tell when it catches up with me cause their is always a little more junk in the trunk b4 everywhere else...

pigeon forge warning -- super mickey mouse. i found it completely obnoxious. gatlinsburg was a better option and has more charm imo. even then its a drive to the dragon despite the offerings of the smokey mountains. cherokee is closer by an hour

for sure, its always nice to come home no matter where that is. that feeling will never subside. its funny but i was on a 2 month road trip out west before i committed to returning to real work in corp. america. By the end of 6 weeks, i found myself wanting home real bad..... where ever that was, even marysville ohio. ps. If you were in LA or anywhere else but south county or San Diego, I give you kudos for hangin in that long. (I can't stand LA, and San Diego is gods country).
